3 new bidders and in an active sale process. Got to be good. But of course no indication of price and an extended timeframe so not good if you are in a hurry to see it concluded.We need an intrepid reporter to dig something up.

I'd say its slightly positive but obviously delays any decision. Dip was bought very quickly

Theres a link to 2 rns's at the top of this page. One of them mentions 3 new bidders who dont want named so seems a genuine process has now started and has priced out the old 2.

"Since the announcement of 5 February 2021, the Company has been approached by and engaged in preliminary conversations with a further three interested parties, in addition to Go Global, concerning proposals which may or may not result in an offer for the Company.

Accordingly, the Company has now agreed with the UK Takeover Panel ("Panel") that any discussions in relation to an offer for the Company may take place within the context of a formal sale process (as referred to in the Code) in order to enable conversations with parties interested in making such a proposal to take place on a confidential basis."

Thomstar, I always blame algorithmic trading for these silly little trades of a few shares however it does look especially odd in FCCN today. If I was to speculate I think tomorrow could bring some more detailed news about the bid talks. That Apinder guy who bought Ashley's stock has probably had a chat with Marks by now so might be putting himself forward as another serious bidder. Marks may well want to sell his shareholding before 5th April depending on what is in the budget to take advantage of the 10% rate of tax with Entrepreneur's Relief. I sense things will happen quickly this time round with the bid discussions.

Smicker, there will be an issue with IG Group for CFDs but not just yet. FCCN is on the list of shares where IG will stop doing business in CFDs and spread-betting from 29th March. All existing positions have to be closed by then.
