Assuming they paid MA his holding value of @40p, if they pull out now their £10m will evaporate at the landing of the RNS back to where we were this time last week. So £10m to £2.5M if they bought the shares on a whim. Ain't gunna happen folks! Someone is very full in.

Why would you be trying to buy and sell this for a few percent, 40 or 50 could land any minute hour or day imho dyor

Auction again, mms collecting what they can , the fact they have been buying at 32 so early on in day says to me they have been given a price to buy upto and it’s a lot higher than here, really believe will get to 40’s shortly imho dyor

Correct the sage, whatever he got the bidder will have to pay us as a minimum, if the bid for 41.4p refused was not enough then surely the final bid is above this or one would think, he could have accepted a minimum price along with a higher price if the final bid was higher, this has possibly foot asylum all over it, look at that one, big holders sold out in 30’s 50’s then bid was 81! All imho dyor

You all misunderstand. MA did not sell on the open market at quoted prices. He was approached and was aware they were being stalked by interested parties. He clearly had no interest in being included as strategically he has moved on from FC ever being part of his stable. If you think he sold for 15p you are very naive. This is definitely in play. He had no need to wait until a formal offer was made and accepted, he got his money last week. The question is do we sell to the market or wait until the offer is established.

He could have sold out for the bid price pre announcement, that means someone is very very interested and definitely committed now, he may have sold out to one of the bidders as he was happy to just get his money back I’m sure I worked out his first lot were 36p and someone else had worked out his average was in the mid 40’s, if that’s the case and he’s took mid 40’s, and let’s not forget foot asylum, the main holders sold out to JD at mid thirties then 58 or 59 then the bid was 81! He may have also sold with a promise to get any increase in bid price within a certain amount of time.

Remember the rejected bid last year was 41.4p so it’s got to be more than that surely or they wouldn’t entertain talks imho dyor

If miss selfridge topshop and topman went for £300m these have to be worth somewhere near one of those, personally think it’s worth more but don’t think we will get that much imho dyor

We need to think of it as a brand not as a clothing retailer imho dyor

Personally think this will go for between 40p and 50p, forget the clothing business they want the brand, say they let DFS use it for £3m a year, Asos for clothes and boots £5m a year, Alcohol business selling wine £10m a year you have £18m a year with no costs, that’s £180m at 10 x pe so if you can get that for £50m ish that’s a bargain
