Wouldn`t rule it out in the future she-ra especially if Boden wants exposure to the younger market.

I`m quite happy to see FCCN continue to turn itself around.

Johnnie Boden said about six months ago he wasn't looking to float but couldn't rule out a corporate deal to buy another company.One could only imagine what an uplift Boden could give French Connection in terms of their thought leadership, technology, purchasing power, digital drive into countries such as India and Germany.Toast might also be attractive.French Connection is for a younger generation below Boden .

appreciate your response. All I'm looking for is some interesting feedback. I respect your approach to investing & I think your emphasis on looking under the bonnet in terms of actually getting stuck into accounts is fantastic. Everyone shd tune into that imo. Great appraisal of the value here when you first bought back in & of course good luck. Ultimately I'll have to leg it down to the shops to get a view on the merchandise

mustau, some of the menswear is very good.

Find what you like, then time your purchase with one of the very short sales. Last year these typically lasted three days eg Tue, Wed, Thur, but also available on-line. I got 50% off some great clothing. Notification on MSE.

Ben Sherman, Farah, 2 faded brands revived and doing well, no doubt there are a few others.

FC's collection, mainly on the women tends to be geared towards the grunge look with a twist of classic. A lot more 20 something would shop there if the price was right. There is a lot more they can exploit especially abroad. It is on the right path but I feel these next 6 months will tell.

Men's well I certainly would not buy unless it was 90% off!!

Ps, I sold my holding yesterday, but will look to be back in if it drops +10% which somehow I doubt.
