Nothing that we didn't know, just more desperate language from the masters of half truths and deceit. It's still a no vote from me. That way they won't get even a penny for their 870,000 shares. Let's see what Tinkler's next move is now.

Often when flying to Spain I fly Swissair, KLM or Lufthansa as often cheaper than Ryanair or Easyjet and these airlines also give food and drink as free as part of the ticket price.

loganair. Funny I was looking at flying to Orlando and compared prices with Norwegian, Virgin and BA . Norwegian was 20% cheaper but had fewer flights , baggage allowences ( 20KG) and you weren’t certain of flying Norwegian as they leased staff/aircraft from cheap alternatives as B787 RR engines are still not reliable. As with others their starting price is cheap , but you are NOT allowed checked baggage . Who goes on holiday for two weeks with no luggage. So the price creeps up and you end up with premium economy at £1,000 each

https://www.ft.com/content/7edf613e-2a6f-11e9-a5ab-ff8ef2b976c7 I was just reading that article. Management there turned down an offer, IAG wanted to buy them now they have sent message to buyers that they may be willing to sell. Ships sailed I think.

Just a side line for a moment: Norwegian, a low-cost airline, reported its full-year results today. In 2013, when still focusing on short-haul routes, it made an operating profit of NKr970m ($166m). As a result of difficulties in its long-haul business, its fortunes have since reversed. In 2018 it made an operating loss of NKr3.85bn. Its fate is now uncertain, which is bad news for flyers. The company’s collapse would allow Europe’s three big airline groups to raise fares on transatlantic flights.

Calm down Geordie boy! What I meant was the board are making it as difficult as possible for any alternative scenario involving Hoskings, Tinkler or anyone else to happen to justify the current share price. Your Flybe board is giving you 2 options with your vote - 1p or zilch. An injunction is looking like the only possibility of preventing this outcome.

What are you voting on as Flybe's assets have already been sold to Connect Airways, just the sale of the Shell company and Flybe.com.

Court and shareholder meetings are set for 4th March. Latest development is the board say if after the sale of the operating business has completed, the scheme of arrangement is not successful they will appoint a liquidator to wind up the quoted company. Hopefully people here have already exited as this is not looking good for Flybe shareholders.

Mhin2, ref evercore and virgin, they will say that was 2016, can we point to a recent or current relationship that would prove evercore [and hence flybe] were conflicted?

This will all unravel very very soon. A thief is only a thief until he gets caught and charged as a criminal. With Flybe the alarm bells are ringing and the police are on there way.

Utterly shameless this board of directors...unbelievable "Flybe chief could get a bumper £1m bonus - almost half what the budget airline is valued at" The chief executive of Flybe could pocket a bonus package worth almost half what the budget airline is valued at by a takeover bid. Christine Ourmieres-Widener, who took the reins at Flybe in January 2017, could be paid a bonus worth £1million this year – 250 per cent of her £400,000 salary. This means she could bag at most £1.4million in total.... etc Https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-6675275/Flybe-chief-bumper-1m-bonus-half-budget-airline-valued-at.html
