This feels now like it is going to gently deflate losing 0.2p or 0.3p a day. Those still holding should ask themselves why.

I think those investing now are respectfully simply Gambling now ..Can't see how logically or realistically this is remotely a viable investment!!!

It will all be over as soon as either: (i) shareholders accept the vote (in which case 1p), or (ii) reject the vote, in which case the assets will be sold and current shareholders will have a cash shell that theoretically today is expected to be worth 1p but will probably have racked up lots of costs and actually be worth a lot less than 1p. Shareholders might whinge and moan after that date but no one will be left to listen. JakNife

this is not yet over...the consequences could drag on for ages...that is not beyond the realm of possibility when there has been a conspiracy...hoskings are merely going through the motions, albeit (seemingly) not very well.

Spread on Flybe is now over 20% 3.21- 3.83 ExBroker , what does that indicate , that brokers don’t want to hold or to prevent trade/sale ?

Logan, if it's a DC scheme they shouldn't have any outstanding liability. If its a contributory DC scheme they'll be deducting from employees income and passing through, of course adding employers conts at that point. If its non contributory they should be making monthly payments to the scheme. If they haven't been under either scenario they are breaking the law. Also they have to offer a pension scheme by law so can't simply close it. From my reading they have an old DB arrangement that is closed to new members, this could very well have a hole in it that needs filling and would explain why they are paying in millions per year. Much like BA who are effectively a massive pension deficit that also operates planes.

Pensions - [do you have any idea of the scheme? from what I understand its a money purchase scheme, where flybe makes an employer contribution- I dont think its a defined benefits or final salary scheme, unless you know otherwise] This is closed to new employess, however Flybe are still having to pay in many millions a year to cover the employees who are still in it.

Ha ha mock the little man at your peril This disgruntled shareholder, son of a pitman (miner)and seamstress ,is making timely headway with complaints, NONE of which have been rejected. Remember Marie Antoinette, cake, and 1789. Never underestimate the power of the rabble.

Total chaos in October with share price and yet in November the BOD stated that their review of EVERY aspect of their business was having a positive impact. In June, three months after the rumoured Stobart bid, the BOD stated that they remained HIGHLY CONFIDENT in its prospects and kept waffling on about how their Sustainable Business Improvement Plan has delivered results. This BOD should get Government positions.

Whatsup (the weakest link) says "Virgin and consortium have done the shareholders and staff a massive favour by buying it as a going concern [how utterly kind and charitable of them, but lets have a look at his ASSERTION], taking over the debt [the debt was servicable] , pensions [do you have any idea of the scheme? from what I understand its a money purchase scheme, where flybe makes an employer contribution- I dont think its a defined benefits or final salary scheme, unless you know otherwise] and paying shareholders £2.5m as well [is that all]. They should be saying thank you instead of threatening court action [err why? because of the credit card acquires-a situation created by the consortium]" Clearly the amigos are not interested in balance, and I cant vote them down, only up...I hope their shorts burn...but that may be unlikely without an injunction against flybe, however there is the possibility of ongoing legal action. Hoskings have raised their head above the parapet, now becoming more difficult for them to quietly leave. This game is not, yet, over

Lets see what happens, this game is not over, but rather has become more conflictual (good, lets hope it gets nasty)...still waiting for Tinkler to disclose his hand.

Clever To call an EGM you need to have 10% or more of the issues share capital of a company. Hoskins stock is held by their prime broker as collateral against a swap position. Legally Hoskins is not the beneficial owner and therefore cannot demand an EGM. If they transfer the stock it will take a few days to appear on the register of members at which point they can call an EGM. This will be very helpful in making sure that the deckchairs are neatly arranged on deck as the ship sinks below the waves!
