I don't think that's public info markt

One could guess and either be suspiciously close or embarrassingly far out, so there is not much mileage in doing that really imo.

Have you looked at FGP recently Aleman? Seems to fit your dividend profile and committed to a 7% increase p.a., even at the current yields.

It's a nice sponge with a jam and cream layer in the middle.

I got a Spiderman Keyring with last year's purchase too.

Clearly, the share price is reacting to the impending 100% year-on-year increase in purchases I will make.

For my birthday office cakes next week, I will be buying the usual Spiderman and Disney decorated numbers.

I like to put my money where my mouth is.

I see the bid for RWD has appeared. That's another cheap foodie gone, probably. Premium is over 60% to market price last week.

bonio10000, I don't think it was likely that the option was there to be exercised under business as normal circumstances

just a bit of comfort, both ways, to get the JV off on the right foot imo

Good stuff - whilst it would have paid the debt off, I'm glad we are keeping a growing part of the business.

In reality, I wonder if it was simply because they could not raise the finance.

Big fan of Yum Yums by the way.

The option for Genius to buy the business and assets of the UCB & Livwell subsidiaries (less the potato scone and yum-yum business which would have transferred back) expired on 23 December 2011

Why has no-one run the rule lately over little Finsbury. I wonder if the large % of shares held or under the influence of the directors is offputting to a lowball bid.

bonio, I think you are correct.

I've added the NGAS chart, if anyone has any other charts / links they would like in the header let me know.

I did get a few last week, but I can't take the credit for the recent little increases.

There was a good discussion on CNBC early this morning about soft commodity prices and how wheat and corn were down 5% to 6%, as in general there has been more planting in response to prior year price rises and stocks are much higher than the market had anticipated. They also think speculators have been burned and left the market. All of these have led to the recent price reversals.

Would seem to be borne out in the above commidty charts and must be a boon to a company like FIF.

I love how I get the blame everytime the share price goes up. Can't take the credit this time :o)

You buying again, Boff? I hoped to get a few more but didn't find the spare cash I'd hoped for this month. I don't see me buying any more before April, now. I don't think they'll be under 30p by then. The jump to 40p (p/e 5.2) still looks to be under way, even if it's in slow motion.

Cracking chart
