Would imagine that this will be positive given that FTC are one of the companies presenting their case to investors & potential investors.

They seem to have beefed up manufacturing capability at Sedgefield looking at their job adverts over last year or so.Specialized telecoms/defence/space, nobody wants Chinese made embedded spy chips/boards/sub assemblies/ etc in the products. Definitely room for a nimble outfit like FTC to progress from prototypes to proper product, especially for smaller batches of bespoke products.

RF and mmWave expert, Filtronic, has secured a contract with US-based Almagest Space to develop a space-qualified customised E-band transceiver and other E-band payload components. The products will be used in Almagest’s global low earth orbit (LEO) two-way optically connected satellite network for ultra-high throughput data delivery services. The network will initially comprise 24 satellites and be scalable to meet increasing demand, ultimately carrying petabytes of data across the globe and in space.

I think the previous management were engineers without any commercial acumen. The jury is obviously out at the moment but the signs indicate that new management has a clear focus on the bottom line. But time will tell.

Bones, agree with your analysis looking further back.

The figures this trading year will more than likely justify the current share price and higher.

Component supply issues hampered progress last year but that has now been resolved. New products and the LEO market will both offer (hopefully) very significant opportunities moving forwards.

Bones, you might also note that RKW, the best performing U.K. listed small cap fund, has taken a 5% stake here too.

Yes probably but a lot of damage done I would say . Seem to have steadied the ship at least but profit margins look very low and there is a lot in the mkt cap given where they are at . Hope it turns out ok for those invested. 16m turnover but hardly in profit is concerning .

Suggest you read the announcements over the last few years. The Company is in a very different place to where it was about three years ago. The LEO market alone is likely to be a key driver for FTC.

The new management team appear to be doing a great job in rebuilding the company but these things don’t happen overnight.

Not looked at these for many years and unfortunately it looks to have been a total disaster . These were 140p last time I remember and to see the state of the company now says it all .

Looks to have turned a corner maybe but from a very low base . Contacts coming in but look to be low profit margins . Not much cash in the bank ..mkt cap looks very high given the state it's in .
Just shows yet another company poorly ran and milked . So many small companies running on fumes after years of mismanagement . Unfortunately just part of the casino that are small cap shares with the majority losing investors money .
