11/7/2022 17:17 | The Edison note has a reduced EBITA in the current FY 22/23 with slightly higher turnover, then increasing there after. Suggests to me the share price rise is likely to stall now for a few months. | weatherman
11/7/2022 14:57 | Very positive Edison Research Note just published. Worth registering with Edison to take a look. Cheers | bazworth
11/7/2022 09:21 | I just googled that Baz & EW is forecast to be $20bn+ by 2025. A critical component supplier into that market sounds good to me! | dougerboy
11/7/2022 08:53 | They seem to be reverting to the EW market from where they originally came | estienne
11/7/2022 07:16 | And another…… | bazworth
09/7/2022 01:29 | Estienne, that is viewpoint. However the CEO comes with massive industry experience in the Field of Industrial components who understands commodity lower margin business versus higher margin technology differentiated product solutions which deliver superior value propositions. Large volume low margin (growth with little profit) taking up a huge amount of factory capacity is often a business killer. I’m glad we’re not in that. | dougerboy
08/7/2022 21:10 | The simplest explanation is usually the best. The new boss has come in, worked out what to focus on and is executing. All the clues suggest FTC is rather suddenly in a good place. | donald pond
08/7/2022 18:37 | Thing is with FTC, they now seem to be extremely ambitious to spread their wings across a wider area. They’ve appointed sales agents in many overseas areas and I understand they have the capacity to grow. From the reports, they also appear to be concentrating on products with higher margins. Who knows what could come out of the woodwork but I’m certainly happy with their efforts. Results on 2 August which should hopefully confirm that this financial year has got off to a flyer!! | bazworth
08/7/2022 16:42 | Unfortunately they're not selling much into high turn over markets such as 5G. Their latest contracts have been of small value delivering a few tailor made components for specialist projects. | estienne
07/7/2022 19:11 | Their newsletter is worth subscribing to . Latest talking about new Hades diplexer launch . Upbeat and professional | peterm10
07/7/2022 16:19 | Estienne, if you’re going to carry on being negative, please use the correct name for the company. It’s Filtronic, not Filtronics. Same applies if you shocked us all and became at all positive!! It would seem that the Dixons continue to be positive!! | bazworth
07/7/2022 15:45 | A couple of small orders for filters and diplexers are not going to make Filtronics take off. These are products its been making from day one. | estienne
07/7/2022 13:58 | 15p next resistance./. | chrisdgb
07/7/2022 13:41 | Any views on chart breakout now the price is 13-14p | wisecat2
07/7/2022 10:45 | Any chartists out there? What breakout price should we be looking for? Price standing at 12.875 as I write. | finimps
04/7/2022 09:03 | Leaving the Station choo-choo-choo | dougerboy
04/7/2022 08:07 | starting to look like a chart breakout, well bid around 11.75p | wisecat2
04/7/2022 07:40 | 3 in a month. All small, but really showing momentum. | donald pond
04/7/2022 07:34 | Great to see......... | chrisdgb
04/7/2022 07:30 | And another RNS! | bazworth
29/6/2022 12:24 | There exists the possibility that an acquirer may have complementary component products and sees not therefore not only technical & engineering synergies but also customer ones. | dougerboy
29/6/2022 10:06 | It makes microwave components for specialist applications. The most recent contract award is a good example and they are unlikely to do more than sell in small batches. Why would a larger company take them over when they can quite cheaply outsource to Filtronics both the product and the risk? | estienne
28/6/2022 07:22 | Yet again Filtronic is showing its diversity this company has so much to offerIt must be a sitting target for a larger company to takeover to gain access to there technology | 53cockers
20/6/2022 17:16 | Estienne, is it possible too that you’re ‘blinded’ I don’t ‘love’ any companies in which I invest. With Filtronic I see (and we will all have different views) a company that is on a steady and well planned road to recovery. They have most certainly increased their production and development capacity over the last few years. In essence, our views are quite opposite and I struggle to understand why you continue to pay any interest. Best we agree to differ!! Cheers | bazworth |
