I’m in here nowhere near as long as some of you guys, but the CEOs name I know from 30 years ago from my Honeywell days - he is a top guy, and previous FTC management mistakes were not on his watch. Honeywell acquire good businesses and they operate in Space, Aviation, Building Controls, and Industrial. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves - another couple of years of good growth first, please.

I’ve never been aware of FTC exaggerating their situation & I’ve been in & out for about twenty years or so, definitely not a new ‘boy’! I reckon they’re doing a cracking job in very difficult circumstances.

To be fair to the management, they did not overstate the worth of the sales of 5G equipment, the reason that the share price rose to 30p was that Small Company Warrant Alert made it their nap of the month, at a time when that particular tip sheet was very much in vogue. I don't think that you could ever accuse Filtronic of over-hyping the story.
Seems to me, Estienne, that you have an agenda here, are you perhaps a disgruntled ex employee ?

I suspect that many of you bought into Filtronic when it went over 25p after it promised massive sales of 5G equipment. The fact that the management over stated their worth and subsequently had to sell off its antenna business speaks for itself. I've probably held shares in this company for a lot longer than anyone posting here and knew that there wasn't going to be a better time to sell when it was 25p after that it went down to under 6p and I bought back in. It could rise a bit more but there was nothing in the update to encourage that.

Estienne, I thought that you said that you would be selling out today, and yet you are still posting in the same negative vein. You really need to bite the bullet, if you think that this company does not have legs then move on, but if you do decide to stay aboard then i would like to think that in the future you might perhaps applaud the management for steering us through the pandemia, surely that in itself deserves some praise , rather than the cheap jibes that you continue to hurl in their direction . Sorry if I sound slightly irritated, but the fact is that I AM irritated, and I suspect that I am not the only one !

It was always extremely unlikely that any new contract news would be released within these results. Why are you fixated on just large contracts? FTC would appear to be gathering momentum without ‘blockbuster’ orders. You’re clearly unhappy so it probably is best to sell…..!
