11/9/2018 08:52 | Richard FTC are good friends who are best buddies with Nokia who are best buddies with Verzion its like an inverted pyramid, FTC are very well placed | chestnuts
11/9/2018 08:43 | Slicethepie, so you’re saying you’ve done your own homework? What did you find/learn? Interested to hear. Surely if you have info you’d want to share as that may well lead to some big share purchases from investors. | richardc77
11/9/2018 08:42 | Tini5, I watched those videos and they are awful and say nothing about much, you certainly couldn’t invest based on them. | richardc77
11/9/2018 08:41 | Chestnuts, so 1m antennae but re rest of the world, are FTC the leader in this market, do other companies supply? | richardc77
11/9/2018 08:40 | Richard blame the idiots behind mifid2 for the lack of research, that said it does mean there are gems like this to be discovered by us pi's sadly it does mean doing your own homework, it is a matter of choice as to whether you share your findings! | slicethepie
11/9/2018 08:40 | Richard, there's some videos here. Thankfully short as presentation is somewhat lacklustre but some good info nonetheless. | tini5
11/9/2018 08:38 | Mad Go look at FTC web site the last presentation i think it was either the last but one page , The uk need around 1 million antennas, then think of the rest of the world | chestnuts
11/9/2018 08:32 | last mm at 23p to buy now | middlesboroughfc
11/9/2018 08:29 | Mad, thanks, understood. What do you guys know apart from the recent RNS? I am interested but I dislike pure punts so was hoping someone might have something more than FTC’ recent RNS. | richardc77
11/9/2018 08:22 | Richard,It seems to me like FTC are woefully under covered by analysts. Given the market cap, that is understandable, but it does mean that elements of guesswork are required. If we knew for a fac5 that FTC were the main supplier for 5G masts the share price would already be ten times higher. | mad foetus
11/9/2018 08:20 | I take it nobody can answer that simple question re competition supplying these 5G antennas? Has anyone done research or is this just a case of hundreds of people thinking this is the latest AIM pump a la EVRH for eg? I’d love to see some actual research but it seems thin on the ground :( | richardc77
11/9/2018 08:12 | Another brilliant looking htf on chart now? All we need is a 100k buy and this will go ga-ga upwards as everyone piles in | pietradura
11/9/2018 08:09 | Exactly my thinking mad f So many eyes watching this now, small shake and then will reverse later. Any new contract - TRM or MMMIMO - will send this wild | pietradura
11/9/2018 08:08 | Stocko has FTC covered by one analyst at Panmure, with 2019 and 2020 revenue estimates each projecting 2% growth from 2018 figures. It will take very little to generate a "substantially ahead of market expectations RNS" and kick off a virtuous cycle. | mad foetus
11/9/2018 07:57 | Think it’s probably worth 100s of millions to filtronic | rubberbullets
11/9/2018 07:54 | Mad F et al are FTC the only supplier of these massive MIMO antenna needed for 5G? | richardc77
11/9/2018 07:30 | Do we have any idea how much we charge for a single unit? While there will always be a vast spread of estimates, if we took that figure of 110,000 masts, each with 50-100 antenna, we get a spread of approx 5-11m antenna. How much do they each cost: £1? £10? It would be good to have a ballpark idea. | mad foetus
11/9/2018 07:02 | If a 5g mast needs 50-100 mMimmo antenna and there are 110,000 at T-Mobile alone then that’s a lot of work for filtronic Rob Smith, CEO, said "We are pleased that order flow is now running for this product which is the first offering from our Massive MIMO antenna range. This technology is key to the densification of 4G/LTE networks and is a cornerstone technology for future 5G networks.". | rubberbullets
11/9/2018 06:52 | If this can crack 29p what is the next level, would it be around 36-37 and then 65p Just trying to read the bowl | pietradura
10/9/2018 23:00 | Thanks Bamboo. Yes I see the resistance at 29p, you see that as being the significant point more so that the top of the gap then? Homebrewruss - That sounds like a great idea, if you (or Bamboo2) do set it up then please let me know the EPIC code you use for the thread as I would be sure to follow it. | greenroom78
10/9/2018 22:52 | Hi Greenroom, we are in the resistance zone at the moment. 22.25-26.05 Assuming the gap is filled, I guess we will get a test of the top of the gap zone from above. Historical resistance is at approx. 29.00. This is where, if not before, it is likely price will consolidate. Historical resistance is the main obstacle for chart pattern based target prices. | bamboo2
10/9/2018 22:46 | Bamboo2 a thread sounds like a nice idea for your charting. I was looking at SOS the other week in the low 30s and it was only after I missed the move into the 40s that I realised it had formed an htf pattern in the 30s. Sorry to others for the off topic. | homebrewruss
10/9/2018 22:39 | Hi Bamboo, what targets do you have from your htf and gaps? I assume the 26p gap close is the first resistance? | greenroom78
10/9/2018 22:37 | chestnuts, re 1827, sorry for late reply. Glad you found a chart with the last market price inputs. Assuming you are using candles, LMP can sometimes paint a very different picture to the mid price based charts. This is particularly the case with gaps, as you have discovered. Mid pricing, ie the spread, sometimes conceals gaps. In the main I am interested in Common/Area gaps and Breakaway gaps, as these have very useful trading characteristics. See Bulkowski's website for discussion on average fill times, support and resistance zones etc. I draw two separate sets of chart for each stock. Double the work. :-( mf, I will pm you to discuss title/ticker, to see what you think. | bamboo2
10/9/2018 18:34 | indeed, i see a magnet TO 36p here | pietradura |
