23/9/2018 16:04 | Interesting comment on the value of AGMs. The ZOO AGM last year was a full house including a fund manager from Herald. The BATM AGM had about 12 of us and Q & A lasted over an hour and a half. Just 2 examples where being there has helped me. The latest RTHM AGM was also valuable for me in meeting the new management team.....the jury is still out but I am holding....until the next results summary at least. | gerihatrick
23/9/2018 14:39 | Lols Beeks. I'm only an NED, others provide the brains, I provide the biscuits. Only I forget every time!I will take a look at Redt, it has cropped up in a few chat rooms and on screens recently, thanks. | mad foetus
23/9/2018 14:23 | I reckon that company value was in drachma !:) | beeks of arabia
23/9/2018 14:06 | Mad, I will start reading your posts with new respect, and glad that we share a common interest here. May I also humbly suggest you take a look at what's happening at Redt technology, as it becomes rapidly derisked and before it starts its FTC like journey into BUR like upwards trajectory. ;) | brucie5
23/9/2018 12:24 | What,not even a solitary Ginger Nut??!! | bazworth
23/9/2018 12:04 | I'm a director of a billion pound listed company and we have never had a single attendee at an AGM. Which is nice, as we don't have biscuits. | mad foetus
23/9/2018 12:00 | I used to regularly attend AGM’s of a little failed Company called Torotrak. All I heard was waffle & piffle then Torotrak went bust. The Directors made themselves particularly wealthy at the cost of their Shareholders!! I think FTC is totally different but I doubt whether attending the AGM will be of any benefit. May of course have a tasty lunch!! Delighted to be a long term holder here!! | bazworth
23/9/2018 11:53 | Always wanted to go to Leeds. As a kid I supported LUFC. AGMs not worth going long distances for though | volsung
23/9/2018 10:57 | Their business is based up here....hence AGM up here.....just like ZOO! I will be there.....any questions you would like asked? | gerihatrick
22/9/2018 21:44 | Oy! Nothing wrong with Leeds!Actually, there's loads wrong with it, so good point :)I'm looking to go anyway. They used to be in Shipley - I am sure I went there in the 90's when I worked as a field engineer for Elonex - blimey, some years ago. Pace engineering was over the road and made most of the early sky boxes. | beeks of arabia
22/9/2018 21:10 | Last year, the only contract I saw FTC announce was on 14 Aug and it was a 3 year aerospace agreement worth £4.8m. This year we have already had Fridays multi-year contract for between £3-£5.7m plus the mMimo orders of $2m and also of $1.1m with a warning that orders for that product would be regarded as part of ordinary business and only RNSd in future if they were exceptional. According to Stocko, revenue of £24m in 2018 is expected by broker consensus to grow to £24.7m in 2019 and £25.5m in 2020. Surely FTC is going to smash those? I wish I could go to the AGM, but Leeds? I mean, WTF? | mad foetus
22/9/2018 20:58 | Hard Brexit prob result in more orders cos the kit filtronic supplies gets cheaper as the pound plunges | opodio
22/9/2018 17:23 | Most of our earnings are abroad and in $ so as the pound falls 1.30/1.25/1.20 we should benefit. | loafofbread
22/9/2018 13:14 | I'm thinking/hoping that FTC, as a global infrastructure exporter, will not be hit by the oncoming blasts of Hard Brexit lunacy. Of which main collateral will be supply chains and weak sterling. Are we vulnerable to either of these? | brucie5
22/9/2018 11:39 | I plan to be at the AGM and will report back | gerihatrick
22/9/2018 09:05 | There was a brief trading update last year to coincide with the AGM. The AGM this year is scheduled for the 25th October. I don’t expect anything until then. | bazworth
22/9/2018 08:36 | Anyone know if we will get a trading update next week or will they wait until the slightly later (this year) AGM in October? | loafofbread
21/9/2018 21:34 | Cormac Whelan, head of the UK & Ireland at Nokia: "Nokia is delighted to be working with BT in laying the foundations for 5G adoption in the coming years" 21 June 2018 BT revenue $31.5B | 2mex
21/9/2018 18:55 | Verizon highlight the three 5G service streams the carrier is pursuing for ROI. | 2mex
21/9/2018 16:13 | So pleased to see today's RNS, as this is my second largest holding, and I was beginning to wonder how far this retrace would continue. As has been pointed out, the order shows a bit more breadth to the company, as well attesting to the quality of its offering. I hope to see 20p support, and upwards and onwards from here. Another order, and we'll sail past 24p, which is essential. | brucie5
21/9/2018 10:34 | HTF would imply target of about 45p | rubberbullets
21/9/2018 10:33 | next leg up starting | rubberbullets
21/9/2018 10:32 | After a week of AAZ this and SOLG are really the icing on the cake and I think all 3 are still massively undervalued. Surely we are owed a trading in excess of market expectations RNS | mad foetus
21/9/2018 10:27 | Don't be surprised to see a further Canaccord discretionary client reduced holding in company RNS in the next week or two.I'd expect them to be down to 6-7%. This is simply the completion of the offload of the remainder of the 5% Aberforth block, acquired last year, at 100% or more profit.Quite possible that target has already been achieved with the volumes we have seen recently. Liquidity has been good and will likely remain so. | photon |
