Interestingly I see in the archives that SCSW also tipped FTC in May-2016........

noticed that .....isnt this yet another relic of first dotcom boom/bust..(remember Infobank etc etc?)....trying to reincarnate itself.I suppose few will remember this when the share price was over £20...well good for a ramp now..and doubtless the SCSW acolytes will be wetting themselves with excitement;0.

The hot money will be here today and gone before tomorrow;)

Interestingly I see in the archives that SCSW also tipped FTC in May-2016 at 8.4p (the price already having gone up from c. 5.5p a month earlier.)

There were c. 10 million shares traded, presumably on the day of the article and the price hit 11p.

But compare the market cap and investor awareness of each company and ask yourself which is most likely to multibag over the next year? FTC is imo on the same growth curve as IQE and current holders are in at the very beginning of the explosive growth in the Sp

Took some off the table yesterday. Few stocks hold onto an 80% uplift in a month without retracing. Will top back up if it drops back. Having ridden the IQE and SEE rollercoasters from the bottom up it’s painful watching paper profits evaporate, so going to be less greedy moving forward and take profits along the way.

FTV vs IQE

What i like is the fact they have both survived from the dot com bubble which shows they are a proper company with depth in managment and products and knowledge its just Ftc is way behind iqe

The extremely well regarded Twitter poster DonaldPond was making the FTC/IQE comparison yesterday. Huge potential here and I am pleased to have built a sizeable position now.

In July 2016, when IQE reported strong growth in revenues and profits from increasing revenue diversification this is what happened. From 16p to 180p in less than 18 months.

I suppose that one of the great things here is that we are, even now, at a relatively small Market Cap. There are other stocks on AIM with very little turnover and significantly higher valuation.

Its a good point we probably can guess that they will make more than this yr so thats a good base and by reading all the latest articles 5G is being pushed to the front and the rush as started, i dont know what percentage FTC will get overall of supplying 5G antennas does any one have any idea.

It would be virtually impossible to put a value on Filtronic as it is totally unclear what the value of sales will be as demand increases for their products. The next couple of years could be quite an incredible time. It’s been a pretty steep rise over the last few weeks and I wonder where all of the shares are going? Mrs Dixon will by now be doing very well...!

Indeed, not being excluded from the digital economy and from the now predominant means of access to entertainment will provide that type of boost.Although I am more generally bearish on housing - and I rent!

A few months ago I visited a friend in a hamlet outside Lancaster and they had B4RN commonly call barn; Broadband for the Rural North. Self installed by the villagers and farmers. Easily the quickest domestic broadband I have ever experienced.
