04/9/2018 07:24 | Double entry deleted! | bazworth
04/9/2018 07:23 | That’s the burning issue! Given the rise in volumes traded I struggle to imagine that the recent moves have been driven by personal investors. | bazworth
04/9/2018 07:13 | Do you think it will be allowed to reach it's full potential before a bid is made? | pictureframe
03/9/2018 21:00 | I tend to trust a spike, but not a fart :)Seriously, I can't see a spike. | beeks of arabia
03/9/2018 20:52 | Trouble is, it's an up and down chart. Shoots up, then shoots down again. I'd prefer a more gentle, if definitive progress... But can't complain about this breakout. 16 was the level to break, and it's broken. Just that I never trust a spike. | brucie5
03/9/2018 19:52 | Nicely broken out now :) | beeks of arabia
03/9/2018 17:43 | Nice, volume's supporting the rise too. | owenski
03/9/2018 16:27 | Bought a few this afternoon. 5G is the future. Interesting to see how FTC and BVC ddevelop in this regard | volsung
03/9/2018 12:56 | I think it'll catch on!Combine it with Intellectual Property and you get the backbone of the Internet too... | photon

03/9/2018 10:47 | TCP or TLC, chestnuts? At least with TCP, you couldn't get stung too badly on your investment, I suppose... ;) | photon
03/9/2018 09:35 | Photon Are you advocating with a little TCP you will get a lot of money for your FTC | chestnuts
03/9/2018 09:33 | Bazworth - 20 years! I thought I was a long termer at about 8! Lovely start to the week. Suspect, Further announcements re. Restrictions on China supply will help keeping the momentum going. Guessing Techinvest was out this weekend which may be helping. | techno20
03/9/2018 08:59 | I only bought in last week and know little about FTC but the chart is absolutely beautiful. GLA. | mad foetus
03/9/2018 08:46 | Technological, commercial and political stars aligning here, with market cap still only just over 30m. Ha. | photon
01/9/2018 21:07 | Owenski yes good point the defence contracts will help with the lumpy nature of the income. I note that a late start to a defence contract meant it was not factored into FY result. So a big lump (possibly 2 years of that contract) will go into next FY result. Chestnuts thanks for the link. With Huawei's 5G out of the picture in USA, Australia, Japan(?) etc!, Huawei's 28% global market share will have a big chunk removed and re-distributed to Nokia and Ericsson. Bazworth thanks for the link, $2m and $1m orders in August (from the OEM they can't yet name but we think we already know). A key point mentioned was that, because Filtronic outsource manufacturing, they have the flexibility to upscale relatively easily. They have indicated that they are now waiting to see the profile of the next orders from the OEM. They have said that repeats of the above sized orders will not be announced because they are recurring / business as usual. imho those orders are sample orders to ensure delivery and quality. The "profile" will follow... and Filtronic are already mindful of upscaling. | 2mex
01/9/2018 11:29 | FTC is profitable with cash in the bank. The contract nature of the work makes for lumpy earning issues, but they are seeking to address this. They also are moving into a new high growth market with products that are already generating orders. I'd say at the current M.cap the downside is looking priced in and the upside is looking attractive. | owenski
01/9/2018 09:30 | Techno20, all agreed. I’ve been in and out of FTC for about twenty years, all looking very good at the moment and we are sitting on a very low Market Cap with fantastic potential..., fingers firmly crossed! | bazworth
01/9/2018 08:45 | Liked the messaging on the VT’s, but could do with working on the delivery! AutoQ is fine, but shouldn’t stop emotion and enthusiasm being conveyed. Some basics like naming who’s on VT would be a good move too, but overall it’s a definite step forward. Slightly surprised that the share price didn’t respond more strongly to last weeks contract announcement, but it’s been a great couple of weeks, so not complaining. Been invested on and off for years in FTC, but it does feel as if the stars are aligning at last. | techno20
31/8/2018 18:10 | Well spotted bazworth, looks as though the company has finally decided that they need to beat the drum a bit, perhaps they are worried that somebody might come along with an offer of 25p and deprive us all of the benefits that we now deserve having been so patient these past few years! Would like to see the house broker drumming up more interest also, it is a good story but it needs to be told. | mesquida
31/8/2018 17:00 | FTC on the tube! | bazworth
30/8/2018 23:25 | Bought 65000 earlier today at 15.25. broker said no problem selling any amount 150000 plus so as you say no shortage of buyers. Exciting company | peterm10
30/8/2018 20:29 | Excellent news. Onwards and past 16p now, please. | brucie5
30/8/2018 20:23 | Would appear to have been a strong finish to the day. Someone is soaking up the sells.....! | bazworth |
