01/8/2017 09:04 | MartyW - no I haven't tried the cola yet tbh. I don't drink it but one would hope they would be doing some taste tests among US mixer drinkers before full launch!Regarding Franklin and Sons - it was in Waitrose and similar price to Fevertree. Taste of naturally light equivalent was ok to me, but not better than FT. They also appear to have far more limited distribution atm. Think we are quite save (for now!) as Fevertree took the tonic product at least up a huge level and others can join us there, but FT has the first mover advantage. Another one appearing in fancy restaurants is Folkingtons but again taste was not memorable IMHO. | juzzer100
01/8/2017 08:09 | £22 today, the shares are in great demand. There is an apettite for them. A maybe £24 is the next milestone. | christh

30/7/2017 14:55 | Apart from Sainsbury's, Franklins looks very high end. I've never seen or heard of it before. How does its tonic price compare to Fevertree? | jerseymike
29/7/2017 16:42 | I saw a new competitor called Franklin and Sons advertising on the tube at oxford circus station. Premium tonic brand with a very similar image to Fever Tree. hxxp://franklinandso | mastermatto
29/7/2017 16:00 | The Times today says RBC Capital Markets have a tp of £24 and think that FEVR have only scratched the surface of the U.S market. So a good bit still to go for. | aimingupward2

29/7/2017 07:07 | juzzer100, have you tasted Fever-Tree Madagascan cola on its own? What is yor opinion on it? Is it outstanding/mediocre How does it compare to your favourite/least favourite cola - pepsi, coca cola, etc. What is it like as a mixer in your opinion? Are americans tastes different when it comes to coke/colas? Have Fever-Tree got its taste right for the american market? [I wonder how many American analysts have tasted Fever-Tree Madagascan cola, and what their opinion on it is] | martywidget
28/7/2017 16:06 | This is only going to go higher. I have said it before but FT is a vastly superior product to Schweppes and no other mixer is in the game at the mo. FT Cola is about to blow the US away, and they are building a huge war chest for diversification after that when they need it too. What's not to like??Good on the founder too for cashing in £30m of chips - don't blame him one iota! Happy weekend G&T's all! | juzzer100

28/7/2017 13:58 | I would agree with that too. | christh
28/7/2017 13:27 | I agree, the tone is very much 'this is over-priced and you've missed the boat if you're buying now' To his defence, he is looking at this from a pure fundamental basis and I can't find a hole in his logic. But nothing is sustainable, the share price will eventually level off but not quite yet. | villarich
28/7/2017 13:12 | Yep, that works a treat. Thanks. Edit: His conclusion seems to be: continued growth not sustainable, too pricey, buy Britivic, be pedestrian, lose money and come back to FEVR in a few months when the analysis is disproved... again. I jest, of course, but that's the tone imv. Anyway... upwards then onwards! | sogoesit
