16/5/2017 08:39 | I fear this has had an exceptional run and we could be in for some biggish profit taking. Might take some off the table now to be on the safe side. | trt
16/5/2017 08:28 | Profit should be 100m not revenue! Have you any idea how revenue needs to grow to maintain this sp? | big7ime
16/5/2017 08:27 | Thanks your feed-back staverly. Ok, I work on P/E of 50 for my forecasts but then I may be generous on revenue growth. Looks like I will pick some up this morning as 1650 was my last target price prior this end of year. Cheers! | sogoesit
16/5/2017 08:22 | Posh mixer maker Fever-Tree has fresh cause for celebration Management has been working to find new distribution outlets in the key UK market but also overseas. It recently struck a deal with British Airways to serve its tonic water across the entire fleet and for passenger to be able to buy its Naturally Light Tonic Water on budget airline easyJet flight. It is also growing rapidly in the US while its 'rest of world' division now includes 27 territories including the larger markets of Australia and Canada. The company has recently set its sights on expanding further into mixers for the thriving dark spirits market after enjoying another “exceptional&r In its preliminary results for 2016, Fever-Tree said profits before tax had risen from £16.8m in 2015 to £34.3m last year, an increase of 105pc. The upmarket tonic water maker, which was last year’s best performing stock on London’s junior Aim market, also enjoyed a revenue hike of 73% from £59.3m in 2015 to £102.2m. There was particular success in the UK market, where revenues increased by 118% as the company’s fortunes were boosted by a spectacular growth in demand for gin, which has enjoyed a renaissance in recent years. Gin sales surpassed £1bn for the first time last year, while bars, pubs and retailers sold the largest volume of gin on record, according to the Wine and Spirit Trade Association. 15/5/2017 23:51 | Thing is if you're going to invest at this price, the upside is small say to £20 There's many better value shares that could multi bag, why risk it for 15% | big7ime
15/5/2017 22:18 | Fever-Tree fizzes as it upgrades full-year expectations once more 08:24 15 May 2017 This morning’s share price gains means Fever-Tree is now a £2bn+ company London-based Fever-Tree said it had achieved “strong sales”so far in the year-to-date, although that was about as specific as it got. Since it first listed on AIM back in 2014, every spring trading update has included a bullish statement on full-year earnings. www.proactiveinvesto | christh

15/5/2017 21:59 | SoGoesit ... My pre-market thinking was based on crude assumption of 2-3p uplift in EPS, hence my £1.50 figure (PE x60). Let's see how the rest of the week/month pans out. Undertook a trek to attend AGM earlier today. Never met BOD before. Thoughtful panel Q & A, and later on attendees (15-20) mingled over a drink with insiders. TW struck me as the real deal. To my mind the story is still in tact, more than. Short term share price movements are never easy to predict, and thankfully mostly irrelevant to long term holders. | staverly
15/5/2017 21:24 | GI, re, selling this morning, The chart told me to do it. I use apex based potential turns to time trades. I used to try to get them perfect, with minimal trading costs, but that was not really practical, so now I'm happy to average in and out, taking just part of a rise. Some of my trades target only a few percent after costs, this recent one on FEVR netted approx 12%. Looks like hist support approx 1610 Next turns 17 and 26 May 2017 I will definitely be back. PS, sogoesit, thanks for speaking up for me while I was away! :-) | bamboo2
15/5/2017 19:37 | I so love these articles Diageo is a massive co, the huge catalogue of a report makes amazing reading. If you compared the two you'd realise there is no comparison, Diageo a world leader mega conglomerate selling hundreds of brands in two hundred countries, it's going to be a slower mover than a newer exciting growth co But it's a quality co. Fevr is a newish co, in comparison an upstart fizzy drinks co with a few soft drinks. Quality product but nothing that can't be replicated but compare it to Diageo you realise the ridiculous over valuation given to it by those joining the party at this late stage throwing their cash at it like it's going to have a twentieth the profits of Diageo valuing it now at a potential many years down the line. So a completely different kind of investment. One a proven blue chip with good dividend, the other a much higher risk investment that even if the business continues to grow yr on yr for many years could be reaching its pinnacle in terms of share price." Wow, sums it up | big7ime
15/5/2017 18:47 | One super growth stock I’d buy before Diageo plc [Fool.co.uk] Harvey Jones Fool.co.uk 15 May 2017 Last week chief executive Ivan Menezes said the company remains on course to deliver a stronger financial performance, consistent with its medium-term objective of mid-single-digit organic top-line growth. He puts recent successes down to putting the consumer at the heart of the business, better brand building, innovation and a focus on discipline and efficiency. read on in here | christh

15/5/2017 15:08 | Of course, in a "static" market anyone would be crazy to buy a stock at 61 x earnings. No wonder folks are selling! Fine by me, accumulating here now. | sogoesit

15/5/2017 12:54 | bamboo is a short term trader and gives great insight via his chart methods on what he does; always useful to know. Like ccr I am also a buyer under 1700 to accumulate on my now burgeoning holding! I too am phlumoxed as to why, on what looks like a strong long term look ahead and albeit it hit nearly 1800 this morning, it has gone nowhere this morning. Anyway, as a buyer below 1700 or thereabouts I am looking for 25% upside over the next 6-9 months. Maybe the market wants to let this grow into the valuation for a while; who knows. Good luck! | sogoesit |
