Lol
I think christ has more things to worry about than a punt on FEVR. He's probably gone to the Congo to see if RRS can be salvaged... rather than savaged. Oh, for want of an "L"!

It is holding up well, which is an excellent sign, my get back in under 2300 tomorrow which is a good price imo... as Christi assures me it will be £28 next month

Charting is not to be laughed at - just pop over to forex - looks like garbage until you put a few monthly / weekly / daily lines on the charts - amazing how they attract price !

Mate you're a legend, thanks for this. I'll do some digging using the links you sent and look up Bulkowski and all his wares. I've looked at trend following etc before but will look to supplement with his theories. Thanks again!

Re volume, I only look to see if it reflects Bulkowski's ideas in terms of identifying chart patterns correctly. Never use level 2.

Re apexes,
Re patterns,

Hi Villa, I mainly rely on potential turns in the charts. The position of these is suggested where the apex of upper and lower trendlines converges. It is statistically proven these have an effect on price, even after price has moved out of the triangle or wedge created by the trendlines.

I observe two different types of charts, Last market based, and mid price based. It is a lot of work. It requires a great deal of thought and honesty with oneself about the drawing of trendlines. Ideally a confirmed trendline has three wick contacts, although sometimes two are sufficient where they intersect a line that has at least three.

Sometimes it is possible to have much greater conviction over the direction of a turn where there are two or more apexes occuring on the same day, or on both chart types.

I'll post a chart later where you can see where the trendlines have pointed to the changes in price trend.

I have spent a while studying and practising the ideas of Bulkowski, who has some great books, and a free to access website. All my trading since June 2017 has taken place without regard to trading costs, and I have still made approx 50%, and learnt loads in the process.

Thanks Bamboo. Do you look at Volume and / or Level 2 on top of the chart patterns at all? I've read a little on VPA to validate chart patterns but not really put it into practice. And although I get what Level 2 is, I can't work out what I should be looking for! So I haven't really done much short term trading. I want to get into it more though.

Villa, yes KWS has the look of becoming range-bound.

A bit like FEVR maybe? I see this meandering between approx 2300 and 2500, with the occasional pop, here and there.

Same with FDEV, 1300-1400.

These look good trading ranges to me. Using support and resistance, chart patterns and potential turns, it is possible to generate some cash for extra shares.

Was looking at KWS too. Decent support at £14 and seems to be in a sideways trend between that and £16.50. It's had a good run the past 12 months.

Villa, yes, still in from second trade. Feeling reasonably confident about the support at approx 2300, so happy to sit in the trade. Must admit that I expected the turn at approx 11.30 would be up rather than down.

Been buying elsewhere in last two days, eg KWS, FDEV, SPE, WAND, GAW.

Are you still in from yesterday's second trade? I added yesterday at 2350ish, couldn't resist! Long term for me though so no TP. Topped up quite a few in my portfolio yesterday. RFX, XLM (only blue yesterday) and BOO to name a few.
