“Schweppes is still No 1 in off-trade in volume and No 1 in on-trade. More people are drinking Schweppes in pubs and bars than any other tonic.”

Still probably incorrect. Should read "People are drinking more Schhhh tonic water than Fever Tree tonic water (by volume)".
Which makes sense since that is the commodity end of the market.
So long as FT doesn't get commoditised we're ok.

I note that the Christmas/New pricing discount of 1p (to 169p from 170p) has now reverted to 170p in Sainsbury & Waitrose.

Afternoon VillaLooked at the numbers and a target of £30 seems reasonable.Trouble with idiots like Christh is they only take the numbers on face value and fail to analyse and see that growth rate is falling, not by too much but falling non the same. Key is cracking US to compensate for sales declines elsewhere and so far it seems like it's not quite happening yet, but I'm confident with the BOD/management that it will.DD

ccr1958, the gap is a Breakaway gap. It opened on 19/1/2018, and remains open.
It measures from approx 2222-2922

This is the new support zone, and anticipate that this will, like all the other Breakaway gaps further down the chart, remain open, at least to some extent, for the foreseeable.

ie there could be a partial fill, as previously, but for now 2922 is the line. gla

The reference to Sector Performance relates to the overall Beverages sector which includes Diageo, Britvic, AG Barr, Coke and others. It's saying they think it will perform in-line with the average in this sector. It doesn't automatically mean it will perform poorly. It's not a reference to the mixer market to which Fevertree is the new number 1.

{More people are drinking Schweppes in pubs and bars than any other tonic}:

...Mr Warrillow said that the lead over Schweppes, which is owned by Coca-Cola in the UK, had accelerated in the past four weeks, with Fevertree on 43 per cent and Schweppes on 30 per cent.

However, a spokeswoman for Schweppes said that these numbers referred to value, not volume. “Schweppes is still No 1 in off-trade in volume and No 1 in on-trade. More people are drinking Schweppes in pubs and bars than any other tonic.”

Or maybe their analysts take a different view from yours and have applied a lower multiplier of future earnings? Just because they don't agree with you doesn't mean they deserve the sack. Remember, you're just a little fish, like the rest of us, in a very very big pond. Using my analysis from yesterday, if you have EPS of 60p for this year and apply a multiple of 40 (still high for a growth company), you get a price of £23.75.Sorry if this view doesn't sit with yours. It's worth thinking from the other side sometimes to ensure your comfortable with your own. Go on, give it a try. What you seem to forget is that the current share price is based on very high multiples of earnings which cannot be sustained in the long run without an acceleration of growth (it's falling).

Data from the US market research company IRI has revealed that, using data from the 13 weeks to 31 December, Fever-Tree was the number one mixed brand by value in the UK off-trade with a 39% market share compared to rival Schweppes with a 31% share.

According to Fever-Tree co-founder Tim Warrillow, this lead over the Coca-Cola owned company has been extended over the past four weeks, with Fever-Tree on 43% and Schweppes on 30%.

They should sack their analyst and get someone who can read.
Totally ignorant people

Action speak louder than words.
How can they be sector perform as they outperformed the sector by becoming
No1 in the mixer drinks in UK.

The profit rising from £102 mln to £169 mlm and looking for a higher turnover
next year from their prospects in USA expansion.

How you can say sector perform if the actual price is 24£.
Useless report from RBC, just say sell if their target price is lower than current price.
Last thing, if they thinks that Fevr is sector perform... they need a doctor.
