Hi Sogoesit,Clearly Trev is not a very good deramper, just like our christh is not a good ramper.Had hoped Trev could stick around a bit longer though as he's done wonders for the share price today, plus I've learnt so so much about PEG, PE and NAV.......pmsl.DD

Oh look. The SP, an unreliable indicator of value, has just gone up to 3555 & didn’t even reach our 3400 consensus floor.
I must return to my NAV calculations and wonder why I didn’t use a DCF model to value the intangible brand value... hmmmm...

So, since the PEG ratio is unreliable logic dictates that the P/E ratio is highly unreliable.
You couldn’t make it up. And that’s our lesson for the day from our purported teacher.
Give me a break. Preferably not one down the pub.

But Trev me old mate, you said:"Did you all no that all these growth stocks that rely on that peg ratio have a habit of eventualy reverting to a price based on a P/E ratio and Nav?."Now your saying the PEG ratio is unreliable, can you explain "unreliable", unreliable for what exactly?.Have a nice time down the pub and see you in a month.......I very much doubt it tbh, oh well.DD

Sorry Trev, meant to add.Are you serious about NAV?, you do understand the Fevertree business model don't you?..........they sub absolutely everything out so even their property and plant is only on the bs for £1.9m, their intangibles are £42m.Think you need to read more and gobb off less IMO.All the best though and wish you well with your short.DD

Did you all no that all these growth stocks that rely on that peg ratio have a habit of eventualy reverting to a price based on a P/E ratio and Nav funny that and when the price tanks these major holders never seem to lose money it’s all a little bit suspect, lol.

Sorry did somebody say something?
I'm with you Sogo. When someone comes on to a board with the sole intention of providing advice and guidance, especially after a significant rise or fall, they invariably have an ulterior motive.

The thing Trev doesn't seem to get is that we've all been here since the early days. I'm up nearly 400% overall and 700% on my initial investment. It's only Christh who's got an entry price in the £30s!

Fair enough 123Trev but, in that case (educating others), you need to make a cogent case with some numbers and why you think certain criteria are applicable to growth stocks, in this case, and not other criteria which we generally use on this thread (Rate-of-Growth, Cash, EPS, & PEG)... apart from bamboo's great charts.

Indeed the messenger should not be shot (filtered) but the onus is on them to make a case.

In philosophical terms I go more along the eastern lines of "The pearls of wisdom are found in mistakes" (Japanese). We seldom learn when we get things right because we don't know why. When we get things wrong we certainly have a better reason for the mistake. The reason why I question your altruism.

My original FEVR pick was pure luck, by the way. It came about because I met a friend in a bar who told me someone produced tonic with quinine in it. So I tasted it and it was the best I had since being fed quinine as a cure for malaria as a child!!
If you get lucky, ride it!
