21/12/2020 09:03 | thought FXPO might escape the bearish mood in market today but it has succumbed ! a pity as iron ore price rocketing . | arja
21/12/2020 08:25 | Iron ore (SCOF1) topped $170/ton on Monday after a mining accident in Brazil added further fuel to a market which has rocketed by 60% since early November. Vale, one of the world’s top producers had a regional operating license suspended for a week after a worker died in a landslide. Happening at a time of strong Chinese demand and restrictions on Australian imports, Chinese buyers have increasingly been forced to seek more supplies from Vale which only last week lowered its 2021 output guidance as it still tries to recover from the 2019 dam failure which killed hundreds. | zho
19/12/2020 22:08 | Guess you have to decide whether this is a speculative bubble or whether we are in a sustainable period of high prices. The current price spike does look speculative to me but I do think they will settle at levels considerably above where some are forecasting for at least a year or so. | podgyted
18/12/2020 19:24 | Excellent article on Ferrexpo's extensive plans for autonomous open pit drilling technology in an interview with acting CEO Jim North. An excellent read and bodes well for the future of Ferrexpo. Recommended reading. BB | bellbottom
18/12/2020 16:53 | For anyone who is interested. Ferrexpo's Ukrainian tax bill for 1st nine months of 2020, which is greater than 2019 corresponding period. BB | bellbottom
18/12/2020 10:11 | China going down the recycling route to reduce reliance on Australian Iron ore, should get interesting. Strong resistance at 287 seems like the new 200 level | thags
18/12/2020 09:53 | Link below doesn't really say a great deal, but a certain lack of news out there as we wait for the next production report and the possibility of a dividend. I am pleasantly surprised at how stable the share price has been over the last two weeks. The only downside I see is that this is partly based on expectation of a great report and a dividend payment announcement and that may see a short term drop in price as the usual thing on good news is to see a drop in price. Personally, doesn't make much odds to me as we are now in the next phase which should see us get up over 300p. BB | bellbottom
17/12/2020 21:58 | Today's 56%fe pellets premium $198.2Work that out against h1. | denziiil1

17/12/2020 14:59 | There is plenty about both in FXPO's accounts. For H1 2020: "Avg PLATTS CFR 65% Fe iron ore fines price (US$/t) $105.9 "As a result of the favourable characteristics of iron ore pellets over other forms of iron ore such as sinter fines, pellets receive a premium. This pellet premium averaged US$30 per tonne in 1H 2020, falling from US$67 per tonne in 1H 2019 due to changing market dynamics in 2020 relating to the global COVID-19 pandemic." | zho
17/12/2020 14:49 | Out of interest before iron ore went nuts what was the normal price and premium | thags
17/12/2020 14:34 | The money they're making at these Iron Ore prices, they can do both. Debt could be paid off next year while paying >20p in dividends. | bozzy_s
16/12/2020 23:11 | It's that time of year.Is the company going to hammer the debt down or boost the divi? It's a nice problem to have.7 Dec 17 special div. 3.3USc6 Dec 18 special div. 6.6USc2 Jan 20 special div. 6.6USc | denziiil1
16/12/2020 15:25 | Crazy day today, been spoilt recently so bit of a shock to see it rise and fall hard on no news | thags
14/12/2020 16:08 | What we hope and expcet to happen until Dec end, is people to realize that FXPO is quite cheap in relation to the cash flow that it generates. If this happens, the price will easily go above 300. Then if we get a Div announcement in early Jan + result will push the price to 340 to 350. | mk_advfn
14/12/2020 14:01 | Early Jan update and special div perhaps is next news, should hopefully push us higher and help us consolidate above 300p. My hope is for even more in 2021. | its the oxman
