06/10/2020 11:12 | It's all but over here. Certainly hasn't worked out how many of us thought it would. BB must be livid having bought again at circa 177 and being well underwater like me! | lodgeview
06/10/2020 10:26 | Can someone explain to me what exactly is going on with this court ruling? What are the consequences? | astonoid
06/10/2020 08:55 | If you look at the charts for BHP, GLEN, RIO since around 1st September, they form a similar trend to FXPO. Ok, fxpo has higher peaks and lower troughs but they are all very similar and this is a time where we are seeing strong ore pricing and China on a buying surge. So there are other aspects at play here. Maybe it's just simply the continual negative news we hear every day all day from the media, regarding the pandemic and its toll of job losses and general economic uncertainty across the globe. 06/10/2020 08:37 | Surprise dump again | thags
06/10/2020 08:35 | News not healthy enough to effect lift off. Some good and some not so good news. Overall, looking positive for the future, but that nasty cloud of the court ruling will inevitably have its downward effect. We've said it before. The ex CEO needs to get his position sorted which probably means forking out some serious dosh! BB | bellbottom
06/10/2020 07:04 | Ferrexpo always full of surprises. | oli12

05/10/2020 09:36 | whole car industry retooling for electric. don't see them making cars out of wood, wool or biscuits anytime soon. Iron ore will always have a market and this company has great local markets. price artificially cheap here. | undervaluedassets
05/10/2020 08:30 | Here we go again, dumping as usual | thags

01/10/2020 17:14 | Over a million shares offloaded today! | r9505571
01/10/2020 16:38 | Anyone any idea why the drop again today? We should be up around £2.90 to £3.00. Even when we get good news we only get a temporary surge and then it drops back again. BB | bellbottom

30/9/2020 14:23 | A couple of weeks old, but just a reminder of Vale and how it is building up to normal levels of production after the 'Vale disaster' and then covid. This will affect the overall iron ore market, especially pricing. And just a reminder of Vale increasing their investment and production capacity. Vale’s board have approved a massive iron ore project, Serra Sul 120, at a cost of $US1.5bn that will add 20 million tonnes of production to its S11D mine and starts construction in 2022. The Brazilian miner’s iron ore production is set to reach 260 million tonnes per year in 2024. By comparison, Ferrexpo's production is around 10-11million tonnes. BB | bellbottom
30/9/2020 12:26 | You may not agree with all of his views on Russia and Ukraine, but his views are probably closer to the truth than most western media outlets would have you believe. Inevitably, without compromise on either side, you will get conflict and that conflict will continue until a compromise is firstly agreed and then followed through. The problem with compromise is the ordinary numbskulls who would prefer conflict rather than give any ground and someone like Zelensky, who might offer up a compromise, may pay for that policy in losing his presidency. RIP Mr. Cohen. BB | bellbottom
30/9/2020 09:41 | Interview with Wolfram Kuoni about the collapse of Liechtenstein's Union Bank. "Wolfram Kuoni is the last chairman of Union Bank, which is in the process of being liquidated. The Swiss native is the founding partner of Kuoni, a Zurich-based white-collar law firm. He is on the board of directors at commodities firm Ferrexpo in Zug, which is controlled by Ukrainian billionaire Kostyantin Zhevago. Tremezzo, Zhevago's Liechtenstein foundation, was the main shareholder of Union Bank until 2016. Kuoni is politically active, and has campaigned for a parliamentary seat for the right-wing People's Party, SVP." BB | bellbottom
29/9/2020 10:13 | Part 2 of the Poroshenko corruption scandal. Some dodgy translations but certainly worth reading for an understanding of the insidious corruption within Ukraine. Ordinary Ukrainians deserve to have those responsible pay for their crimes. If I was President Zelensky I'd have a process similar to the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission, where the perpetrators of corruption are given the opportunity to avoid a lengthy court case and possible imprisonment by publicly admitting their previous corrupt behaviour and a committee would then decide how much money they were required to cough up to be given another chance and to be 'forgiven' for their previous 'sins.' Then they could start a new chapter in their history. Any defendant who refused to take part would be hunted down and eventually end up in court where they would be shown no mercy. Back on topic - 3Q production report a week today! BB | bellbottom |
