Hmm it's good to see a bit of movement in the right direction at last. I'm getting tempted to tuck a few away again now a clearer picture is emerging due to research from posters...no thanks to the board of FFWD. I might get some of my losses back eventually.

Have you tried contacting Lorne and Jim et al., doggo? If more of us at least mention that news should be released they might eventually get the message. For supposedly intelligent and wealthy guys they certainly aren't getting the picture at the moment. I am traveling at the moment so I can't contact them as I would usually do from time-to-time. When I return I will certainly have a go though.

I've put this onto LSE as well in the ludicrous hope they may be shamed into at least adding information like this to their website, as they seem not to want people to know what's happening.

Today 20:01This is still annoying me.
Vemo enters into national partnership with The United States Collegiate Athletic Association. USCAA announced that students at more than 80 colleges and universities will have access to a new model of college financing that reduces risk and improves affordability. To provide this new alternative for students, the USCAA is partnering with Vemo Education, which works with postsecondary institutions to design, implement, and service income share agreements (ISAs).

Because I'm interested the 80+ is 86. The number of students that the 86 have is 225,000 (7 of the colleges I couldn't find student numbers.

So to sum up our investee company VEMO has entered into a national partnership with the USCAA, that involves 86 Colleges with a 1/4 million students.

Then they have the cheek to RNS that Leap has been nominated for a prize in the village show. We don't care. Give us the real news.

I know some were expecting Lingo news this week. It's possible this could appear later in the day, we'll just have to wait and see.

I started investing in FFWD in late 2015. In the first half of 2016 there was regular newsflow about investments and investee company updates and the share price was mostly hovering around the high teens. In April '16 the share price went up to 20p quite easily (it did that twice as I recall).

Given the latest 'value' info we have about Nuuvera, Factom, Vemo, etc we should be beyond 20p now, IMV. A long way to go yet.

We need a fortnightly update of any non RNS investee company news on the FFWD website.

LOL doggo! Nearly choked on my breakfast reading that! You are dreaming aren't you? Interesting that even those most bullish about FFWD have similar thoughts to me about the way the BOD are handling the "promotion/PR", cough, cough, of their company. We can all live in hope they will get the message one of these days.

Bercovici at Cannatech in 2 weeks she will get things moving. Wouldn't be surprised to see nuuvera listed very soon. Interesting tweets coming from one of the co-founders of Factom tonight.

DLoc powered by @factom has come a long way. Getting ready to take over the world #blockchain #factom

Never seen the factom crew break ranks. They are always ultra cautious in what they say publically. Tiana Laurence also confirmed they are working with Fortune 500 companies. Hopefully named soon.

Totally agree. The bod don’t really seem too fussed about keeping people updated. The website looks abandoned, if on the rare occasion you see ffwd on the risers board and decide to check it out ( like people do ). You’d probably just pass it by. Does seem like because its only a very tiny amount of their personal wealth in here ( even including their own investments within the pf companies ) its only a couple of % of their wealth. They just don’t bother much with it. Lorne just doesn’t mention it and Jim is too busy plugging his books and his other deals.

View Thread (3)Government mandatesToday 11:43Interesting to see how FFWD's BoD network is playing out. So, we have board members who span multiple entities in the portfolio (take Vemo and Factom as an example), but also have government connections and expertise.

This puts us in a very strong position - namely to help mandate the usage of our products at a government level, which is a transformational strategy if that's indeed what they are doing.

Case in point, my company were languishing at $45/share ($8bn mcap) and were struggling to gain increased share of wallet with enterprise customers. Not many deals above $1m per piece, basically. We took some of our new architectural and engineering products and updated them to provide greater layers of control around building developers and contractors. Enforcing better documentation, more accurate drawings, incorporate British standards, accurately measuring resources and impact on the environment etc.

We called it BIM (Building Information Modelling), which made it sound legit and although large customers liked it, they got resistance from their sub-contractors as it was more work for them to document in the field, and they were suddenly very auditable.

So, our enterprise team worked to lobby the government to instil a BIM mandate, with the aim of helping the government to raise standards in the building industry. That meant that all new contracts then had to use BIM (which we invented), including sub-contractors, otherwise they couldn't put out a tender to work on large projects. As you have no real choice but to buy our products now, we now do 200x $1m+ deals per year - and the share price is at $118 dollars ($30bn mcap) today.

Now - imagine if our Lawrence Rufrano character is on the board of Factom and Vemo to persuade the Federal reserve to employ mandates to tidy up the banking system and clean up the student debt crisis. It's in his interest to ensure Factom and Vemo are those solutions. Mandated usage of Factom and Vemo means nobody can work in those industries without using those technologies, as it£s a mandated standard, so they have to work with Factom and Vemo to be regulated.

Maybe that Hotchalk are aware of this strategy, hence integrating Factom already, and Kx have definitely seen this happening, hence their rush to integrate with Factom with their Kdb+ database via their qfactom plugin. If Factom becomes a standard, Kx don't want their userbase to fall off a cliff overnight if it doesn't work alongside. So they put engineering resource on it, and developed a Factom plugin ahead of time. Clever.

So - very quickly we could have a sea of major banks and financial institutions who have to use Factom or become deregulated. At which point, every college has to use Vemo to be compliant and help reduce the student debt crisis...

Would the Federal Reserve ignore all that value add? Methinks not.

To use the vernacular - Boom.

Agree fully with your sentiment Lauders. They are trying everyone's patience. The news is out there, the market needs to know.

It was a disgrace that the Vemo contract was not announced. Huge news that had a few tweets, BB posts but nothing else.

The issue with FFWD as we all know is that if they are really interested in encouraging investors to spend their money on their shares they HAVE to generate news and by default interest. Thus it is all fine to produce an announcement or two but momentum is really needed. If that is not maintained then people will move on to more interesting and promising companies that provide the news flow. Simple really. But that of course is just my opinion and I know others don't necessarily agree which is fine. I note that as usual FFWD can't even manage to update their own website with recent news. Pretty poor show and hardly inspires confidence does it? Perhaps the staff member is on holiday AGAIN (see past posts if you don't understand that part).

The mm's must laugh at people who are selling at 11.1-11.2p this morning, 12p bid yesterday good buying close to 12.5p looking strong and today people sell close to 11p. No wonder so many people do not make profits in this game.

Good to see the share price gaining some ground since the last RNS. Would be great to see it back around the 15p area and then the trend of the longer term chart will change. Good luck waiting for that Vemo RNS doggo!
