LOL. I'm just a mere voice on a share forum while you are supposedly a credible blogger - paid or not - on a financial website. "Expert analysis" as it's claimed to be on Shareprophets . I"m interested to know what kind of CV you need to classify you as an expert analyst.

Not sure posting under my real name would change the information within my articles but feel free to try to pick holes in my credibility the best you can

I presume your real name isn't Doodlebug4

I a while back somebody mentioned that vemo had lost 80% of its value between the 6months reporting dates. I didn't even notice until I checked back. Apparently lorne also gave us a load of free shares and we still lost 80% of its relative value. Does anyone have any info ? It would be appreciated. S P reckon they had a rescue bail out. Funny how it wasn't mentioned. A company they have shares in loses 80% of its value and they don't say why . Any info would be appreciated

Sure hope so too DB4! See Vemo were in the news last week:

The Moon Active website is one of the most inactive and boring websites in the FFWD portfolio and hence there isn't much to say about it really. However, they appear to have made a change to their job offerings section and now the format does look MUCH better I must say. Three departments/categories of job are on offer:

1) R&D
2) Marketing
3) Product Management

I hope that this bodes well for the future. Whether I will be still holding on the next spike up, if one ever comes, is another matter.

From one of the job descriptions:

Description

Moon Active, a Tel Aviv based, rapidly growing, casual gaming startup with millions of players worldwide is looking for an experienced QA to join our team and to help create awesome games at a company that puts quality at the front.

I hope the rapidly and million are truthful statements. Very inconsistent with the other job descriptions which don't mention "rapidly". Hmm....

Yup DB4! Still waiting for the "other things" JM mentioned. Hope they don't wait too long we will be at 7-8p at this rate. Still the bulls here will buy more and bury their heads in the sand again probably.

The latest article on FFWD which you mention Lauders was penned by a chap going by the name of "cynical bear" and I really don't think the authors of such articles have any credibility if they don't at least publish under their real names. Having said that, Schoold does appear to be burning cash at an alarming rate and there are still some nagging doubts about how/if the merger with Lingo Media is going to be completed.

Thank you DB4! Very much appreciate you asking and remembering. As HOC is by FAR my largest holding I did take a big hit unfortunately. The results were timed with weakness in silver and gold prices so that did not help. However, I see the PM prices really strengthened in the US market towards the close (thanks Trump!) and so we may see some of the loss in the HOC share price reversed today. I have no idea what will happen but HOC are still a FTSE 250 company and I bought my first tranche at around 90p from memory. Even after yesterday's drop to around 255p I am in the money as they say. Bought many more times on the way up though including at just over 300p!

Now to FFWD. I am sure you will not like this as it has been mentioned many times before that folk are not interested in it, however all investors should know the good and bad with their investments. The reason, no doubt, for yesterday's weakness here was that Jim's old "GOOD FRIEND" TW released another negative update on FFWD most recent Schoold news. I will not add the link for fear of upsetting those here who still think FFWD can do no wrong, but you should at least be aware.

Stating negative things about TW, as I have done before, and burying our heads in the sand doesn't always work. Anyway, you either take it into account or you don't. You should at least know why a company's share preice is weak or strong and that is the likely reason for yesterday's drop. Overall a #&@! day for me yesterday. I hope it is a better one today ;-)

Europe generates almost 50% of all online & mobile gambling revenue

North America have a lot of catching up to do in both the online and mobile gambling sectors, seems they may start to close the gap.

I personally think Leap could be huge. One of my top 3 in the PF.

This could be good news for Leap Gaming ie two more US states are set to legalise online gambling -

Will Illinois be the fourth state to legalise online casinos? 15-Aug-17

Pennsylvania set to consider legalized video gaming terminals 16-Aug-17

If this goes ahead, then that's an increase from 3 to 5 states in the US. If this trend continues then revenue from Leap should also increase.

Lauders, I hope you haven't taken too big a hit on HOC - you've mentioned it a few times on this thread.

There are quite a few 'loose ends' to tie up before the merger is completed Lauders - perhaps that is why there's no change in the share price.

Well that was no doubt one of the "things" Jim was referring to, but alas absolutely no change in the share price. Most of us were expecting that from prior comments. So BOD, we await for the other "things". Would be nice if it was real news and not already in the public domain please. Enough to make the market and investors take notice please.

Patient holder, been here since the Koala days, bought a chunk at 5p ish sold a chunk at 13p bought another chunk back last week at 10p. VERY VERY confident about NUUVERA, that is the ace in the pack for me. Vemo looks very promising and the Schooled/Lingo tie up is encouraging (particularly as both recently signed nice deals)

I am glad you appreciate my efforts and you certainly have a point about contacting Jim. I would disagree with "constantly", it is more every now and then. He is the only one from FFWD who has replied and basically the only reason I contact them is to try and encourage them to improve the information on their website and the newsflow so we don't all have to search as hard. Is it REALLY that difficult in the 21st Century? Don't the board want FFWD to be a well known name with transparent management who are considerate of their shareholders? Answers on a postcard please.... I will give it a rest now ;-) Should make some happy!

Lauders, I appreciate your intentions are good but I really don't know what you are hoping to hear from Jim by constantly interrogating him via email. There can't be much he can legally tell you to satisfy you surely. It reminds me a little of the simpsons where Bart is in the car and says "are we there yet? Are we there yet?"The priority from where I am sitting is allowing many of these companies, of which we are MINORITY share holders, to focus on there business strategy and growing the company organically (excuse the pun in nuurveras case). I'd rather all hands on deck trying to do this rather than a weekly shareholder update or Twitter post. If we stop hoping to massage our share price and allow these companies to focus on themselves, with our oversight obviously, I believe the rewards will come in there own time. In the meantime I hope you continue your eagle eyed gaze over ffwd because for the most part I appreciate it.

jonesyboy 27 - Your final sentence is right on the button. Believe me my finger is poised over the sell icon. I obviously am not as confident in FFWD, or so "laid back", as you would appear to be. I wish you luck but I think there are some serious doubts about your optimism on some of the companies. Let's see what news we receive today (must be a FFWD School update surely?) and I would hope perhaps it is combined with some other news if we are lucky.

I personally agree with Intensity and probably Factom. Yooya is a big unknown. The potential is HUGE but where is the news? Even their website hasn't been update since late March. Do they really have nothing to add for such a company with such a large user-base? Seems incredible to me that FFWD aren't promoting their company more and ENCOURAGING their investee companies to promote each of their businesses to the wider investment/business community. I may be mistaken but companies should be positively promoting themselves when they can and FFWD do a bad job at it. Just my opinion of course.

PS. Gave you a thumbs up even though I differ with some of your views.

Sent an e-mail to Jim and mentioned the PR among other matters. Said SOME investors were frustrated with the website, Lorne's attitude to investors, etc.... True to his style his reply was short and to the point:

MY NAME
Things are afoot so please be patient.
Jim

I replied with more information and that seemed to stop him replying further.

So how long do I/we have to be patient? I asked him. If I get a reply I will update here, but I am not counting on anything further. GLA!
