I sold my last tranche this morning, so au revoir.
I am angry and feel that I've been shafted by Jim Mellon. When I bought FFWD I thought that I was buying into a company that was investing in interesting high tech situations. Then Lorne Abony joined the company (on a large salary and with an office and secretary) and moved it away from high tech into computer gaming and what I consider to be dodgy investments. Jim Mellon appears to have moved on to other things.
SatoshiPay was a potential star but was sold for peanuts. Blue Star Capital will be the likely winners
Leap Gaming will never come to market. Virtual Reality companies are struggling with a difficult technology and huge competition from the major players. Leap Gaming is a non-started as regards FFWD shareholders, as is Moon Active. The computer games industry is notoriously fickle with many private investors losing their shirts. I would not want to be invested in that area.
The Schoold deal might come off eventually but at no real profit to FFWD.
The small holding in Factom might prove interesting but a 3.6% holding is too small to be of real interest.
I have great reservations about Chinese companies so discount anything happening at Yooya in the near future.
The Diabetic Boot Company will continue to absorb cash. Will it ever make money for FFWD?
So all in all a bad investment as far as I am concerned with the share price actually higher than the value of the investments. Moreover I suspect that some of the investments have little or no value. Anyway good luck to those who remain.

Early expectations were set too high by FFWD's CEO bdog and I suspect he's finding the job more difficult than he originally thought. The easy part is spending other people's money! As we have said many times before, the marketing and administration of this company is quite appalling.

Given that Lingo Media trading was suspended yesterday, maybe news this afternoon after the US has woken up?Agree with earlier comments that this deal isn't expected to set the share price on fire, as much as we'd like it to. The one thing it should achieve is to greatly improve growth prospects for our Schoold holding (as was). The FFWD journey is a slower one than I was anticipating. Early expectations were set too high IMV. I still believe that value will come through but a large helping of patience is most definitely needed here.

As you say cannot see it doing much to the FFWD share price. If FFWD released other news we know is out there and were any good at PR perhaps it would be a different story.

Would have expected an RNS or RNSNON about the Nuuvera news from Canada yesterday if FFWD were on the ball and interested in keeping their shareholders up-to-date. Yet again a poor show. Perhaps an afternoon release to take into account the Lingo news breaking WITHIN THE WEEK? LOL!

I think the share price has held up surprising well considering all the delays Lauders. When you also take into consideration that we were hoping for a Leap Gaming IPO to be announced by the end of June.

If they stick to their word, big if when related to anything to do with FFWD, it will be on the last day at the very last possible minute DB4 LOL! That means the afternoon of Tuesday 8th of August (if we use a five day market/business week) or Thursday 10th August (seven day market/business week). That is the problem with many company releases these days. They are open to interpretation as they hardly ever give CLEAR information. So shall we say there MUST be news by Friday 11th August?

So it wasn't a five day week and it is now looking remote for a six day week so perhaps it really will be a seven day week if the Lingo BOD have any credibility too? Said it again and will keep saying it "Why oh why do they give time frames they often fail to meet?". Just produce an announcement when all is settled and agreed for *#@&@ sake!

And there's another theory which has just been blown out of the water. We were told that FFWD would not release news about the Investee Companies when it was already in the "public domain" ---------------- I've just noticed that "news" about Leap Gaming was posted on the FFWD Twitter hashtag on 6th August.

At least it was a RNSNON leeb100. They realize it is a minor piece of "news". Don't understand their thinking though. We want share price moving news not news that had absolutely no effect or importance in the grand scheme of things. If they want to announce related news wait until LG win, if they win, but even then..... so what? Shareholders and the market want to know about revenue/deals/income etc...

You mean like how they covered up the 80% drop in value of Vemo from one report to the next. Not a mention. We were given free shares in it from Lorne and we still lost a huge % of its value. They didn't RNS that. But they mention that Leap are nominated in a gaming convention. One that you self nominate. Lol

Where pray tell is all this news that MUST be around from Yooya, Factom, Vemo? Surely they must be producing some news that they don't even share on their websites? Oh..... I forgot. It is "sensitive" information.
