When did they quote that doggo? I thought the RNS on the 25/08/17 was the latest update. They said it should be approved within 2 weeks from the 25/08/17

The merger completion is conditional on the closing of the concurrent financing and shareholder approval (which will require approx. another 60-90 days)

Presumably 60 days is from the 9th

This was the Lingomedia RNS 25/08/17.
The Company's shares were halt traded on August 9th for regulatory
review of the merger transaction. The shares will remain halted until
the Company receives conditional approval from the TSX Venture
Exchange which is expected within the next two weeks.

Thank you jonesyboy, what is the name of the new company/app? You should be in charge of updating the website by the way, as you seem to know more about what is going on than FFWD admin do.!!!

It's a total rebranding. The app is vastly improved. They've got other apps planned. They are advertising for a senior software engineer who must be able to "Manage Continuous Integration environment and tools including ticketing system.. Build highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant microservices etc"

Well worth downloading the app over the weekend.

Schoold never was a good name!

Fresh start for Lingo merger, which won't be much longer. Lingo CEO told me 60-90 days on the 10th August.

I don't think Lorne is really into the technology behind Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Do you know anything about the re-named company which used to be Schoold, jonesyboy?

Why do you think Satoshipay was sold? Maybe there is already an established nanopayments company with backing from Goldman Sachs and McKinsey that happens to be based in Lornes home city.

I don't agree that portfolio looks stronger now, particularly after the sale of SatoshiPay. Part of the problem, as we've discussed before, is that there's little use in having articles in the WSJ about investee companies when FFWD is listed in this country. The investee companies need to be promoted in the UK and Europe. One of BLU's investee companies is Sthaler and whoever marketed that company to the mainstream media over the last two days, whether it was BLU or Sthaler, did a great promotions job. imo

we still have one of the best BOD around, there's plenty of time for FFWD to deliver the goods and am sure they will, now we've got rid of a couple of investments the portfolio looks even stronger now, looking forward to the next 12 months of news which am sure will move the share price in the right direction we all want,

As you say jonesyboy 27, some things have indeed changed (too soon perhaps): Sale of Satoshipay and Moon Active, but then again some things haven't: No shareholder interaction/communication by/from Lorne, useless PR and website maintenance/updates, loss making and no big deals or IPOs, a very unstable and currently low (downtrend) share price due to all the previous. FFWD have a LOT to do to turnaround sentiment and for a wider share holder base to believe in their future.

A lot has changed since then. Factom didn't have a commercial product, Vemo just seemed like a good idea, Nuuvera didn't exist, intensity hadn't completed animal trials, Schoold hadn't met Lingo and fallen in love...

Was either overpriced then or undervalued now

It is a steeplechase, but unfortunately the jockey fell off the horse after it eventually managed to clear the big hurdle of 20p last year. :-)

It's a steeplechase not a sprint. When decent volume returns may start to look interesting for anyone unfamiliar with Ffwd.
Just need the catalyst.

Nice little tick-up but as usual seems like FFWD are unable to hold the gain on an intraday basis. Perhaps the share price will behave more in due course. Would be so nice to see above 11.75p minimum here and back to the 15p placing area. Some Factom press:

See page 7.

Edit - Some Leap news too:

Still very curious to see what significant premium they can get from the others.Moons sale wasn't any higher than its valuation six months previous yet ' it was at a 50% premium to its cost '. Like what's been said previously they stated they will cash in at significant premium to their original investment. Now that could be £560k for Factom. It would be no more than its value months back. But still technically a huge 100% premium to their initial investment. That's double their significant premium of Moon and yet no increase in NAV. Which is around 7p. I havent got huge amounts like some only a few grand in this. Just hope the best of the portfolio make some decent cash

Probably because the money he has tied up in ffwd is such a tiny amount to him. He's worth around a billion. And he's got a couple of million in this. Equivalent to an investor with a £100k portfolio with £100 invested in Ffwd. You wouldn't be too fussed either way.

Wow DB4! What has come over Jim? Whenever I suggested something he has basically said he is not allowed to do it for some reason. Now some action from him. One thing I suggested was writing a monthly blog for FFWD's website as there hasn't been a blog for over one year now! His response "the nomad would not allow him to do this" or words to that effect! Seems a load of bull to me, but he always has an excuse. He can write a monthly intro for Master Investor magazine without any problem but when it comes to a company he is involved in he can't write anything.... Hmm....

Nice to see the Wall Street Journal have 3 features on investee companies over the last week or so.
2 in the press and one on the money podcast.

Hi all, I'm still invested here albeit a smaller holding (I was overweight at one point), sold quite a few back in the days of 13p but I've actually been adding again at 10p, reading the BB posts I think many of you have. Evoke overly bearish, which as LTH's is completely understandable. I thought the MoonActive disposal was OK, not great but it always smacked of a quick buck deal to me tbh. The reason I'm adding again now if twofold, first I'm genuinely excited about Vemo, Nuuvera and Factom and second I'm intrigued by the 2017 Premium disposal, divie and Tender offer talk in the last RNS. LEAP remains a bit of an unknown IMO, but I'm still expecting an exit at decent profit, probably a similar % gain as Moon

168000 sold and 142000 bought so not much of a market at all really. Low volume while the patient wait for the significant premiums we have been promised today. If you can't take a hint that's your problem. I wonder who will be proved right?
