For the first time, anyone using HL can buy/sell Portage Biotech shares online without having to go thru the pain of telephone call trades, which can keep you on hold for 20 to 30 mins at busy times, let alone the phone dealing charges. So much easier now.

FFWD has just gone slightly blue as the volume reaches 2 million.

Portage has started the week Up 5.85% at 36.0106 on tiny volume. If the markets are going to be better this week it will be interesting to see how Portage performs.

This is just my thought but as EMMAC already have a deal with Yooma for distribution in Asia and Australia and Yooma have a listing,what about a merger or reverse take over. EMMAC very nearly completed a similar transaction recently so that could be a possibility.

FFWD as an investment company are able to apply for shares at the placing price. In the current market for cannabis shares you can’t fail to make a profit. It would be rude not to take advantage of easy gains as they did with Kanabo banking over £100000 in a couple of days. It’s not the large gains we expect from an EMMAC or Leap IPO but all profit is good.

For FFWD to be buying at IPO seems contrary to their published strategy. I thought that a liquidity event such as an IPO was supposed to be an exit opportunity for FFWD, not an entry point.Sincerely, Puzzled PI

FFWD have an Investor Presentation this week at 11am on Wednesday 3rd March. Will we get some decent news in the next couple of days so they have something new to talk about at the presentation?
There is a steady stream of cannabis launch’s so it would be good to get EMMAC away while market conditions are so favourable. Leap news would also be greatly appreciated.

Looks like pi greed is going to hinder FFWD getting any reasonable stake in any new UK floats this year.

Not surprising when stocks are trading at a ridiculous premium instantly on their first day from the price they raised money.

Not my style to pay 20-28p when everybody else the week before has paid 5p

Personally when FFWD only get a tiny amount in a play like this I rather they took a quick profit and used the money for when they get a meaningful amount somewhere else which is abroad.

People selling FFWD to buy CBX no doubt, bonkers market bonkers punters thinking a stock at 25p or £140 mil is a bargain and worth selling this one to buy them when everybody else is in the stock at 1-5p...

Today report reads well and should impress potential investors. It is just an unfortunate day to release it because it’s a bad day on the markets following falls in the US yesterday and Asia this morning. I think yesterday’s fall on the NASDAQ explains why Portage did nothing yesterday. It is interesting to note that the report fails to record the recent disposal of half our holding in Portage which I think was a very poor decision. I do agree with taking the quick profit on Kanabo but this is less than the profit we would have made if we had retained our original holding in Portage.
The future looks very bright with the approaching big liquidity events and the rerate should continue when the markets recover.

Nice little summary. I see they took profit in Kanabo after doubling straight off. Odd they kept £3k worth. I just hope Leap comes soon. It’s the one that could really move this

These days when it gets interesting everyone seems to desert the bb’s in favour of the shall we say very enthusiastic tweets every minute. The actual progress of the share price and the volume paints a clearer picture for me.

Now Up 14.6% on volume of 3.3 million as we approach Noon. Looking to set a new high if this continues. But today is just a warm up for the massive increases in value that will soon be provided by Leap and EMMAC.
