20/2/2021 15:44 | I think there are around 200 cannabis stocks listed on it. It’s extremely cheap and quick to list on it. Yet quite often the liquidity is ridiculous. | mellonsbellend
20/2/2021 15:06 | Oh that was actually in a tweet from the boss earlier today. | bdog51
20/2/2021 14:57 | From Ed McDermott: "The CSE has some of the biggest cannabis companies in the world. It’s nicknamed the ‘cannabis stock exchange’. I wouldn’t bet against a UK dual listing at some stage though. Knowing the Yooma management well, there is global ambition and real scale planned." Source: LSE FFWD BB. So a Yooma UK dual-listing could be on the cards it seems, bring it on. | bdog51
20/2/2021 11:23 | Hopefully that mistake has been learned and it was a big one unlucky or not. Yooma floats in Canada does 50%, Mxc and Knb float here and both do 600%+ at the peaks. Hell of a difference, we could have been right set up there if Yooma spiked 300-500% and the stake was worth £20 mil+ One thing I will say Yooma is still not available or set up for anybody on iii and Hargreaves and maybe all UK brokers to buy, I wonder what would happen if say on Monday we can all buy it, I'm pretty sure a lot of people will stick some of their profits here or mxc or knb profits into that one | dave4545
20/2/2021 11:14 | What was the point of it listing on the CSE if it is going to list on another exchange. Sounds like you're grasping at straws. You'll take any hope to keep the share price pumped. Have a good weekend. | 1retirement
20/2/2021 11:10 | For your info 1retirement, the price of FFWD rose 10% yesterday, and it did not seem to matter that Yooma fell. Yooma is just a small part of the FFWD portfolio and I doubt that FFWD will be selling for some time and not before it uplists to another market, as will be Portage next week. Have a good weekend | humala
20/2/2021 11:02 | For your info Skipper, Yooma closed at $1.55 yesterday. DOWN 11%. Volume was 126k. Good luck getting liquidity out of that without crippling the share price. | 1retirement
20/2/2021 08:28 | Some great points raised here the value has changed dramatically since last September..This is under a serious rerate and much more to come ..caution is good but we have a few sneaky little doubting “ Thomas’s “ .. my guess is they’ve missed the boat and they know it’s too late to talk share price down but are still trying .. GL longs . | ccr1958
19/2/2021 18:53 | Paraytec part of BRH was worth a couple of hundred thousand 12-18 months ago. Now it's the driving force of the massive current valuation of them some 40-50 million. So it's dangerous to look at the past NAV and values as they can change rapidly. | dave4545
19/2/2021 18:48 | After the close, a large trade showing ie 649,305 shares at 15.4p timed at 11:49:57, so clearly a large buy.Great end to a fabulous week here. | bdog51
19/2/2021 13:57 | It doesn’t price them in because accounting rules don’t allow it. Very frustrating for everyone including the Directors who are not allowed to speculate. Absolutely right the liquidity will allow revaluations that can be recognised in the accounts and they will add significant value. | 888icb
19/2/2021 13:45 | Last reported NAV was in the Interim Report for the 6 month period up to 30 Sep 2020. It's out of date, it doesn't price in any of the known liquidity events in the 2021 pipeline or upcoming IPOs, it's virtually irrelevant. The new valuations will be much more significant to the value of our portfolio. | bdog51
19/2/2021 13:39 | 1retirement I think the company stated a few weeks ago that the last available (ie previous) NAV valuation was 9.4p, which is not the same thing as valuing NAV at that price on that day. Or am I missing something? | yogaboy
19/2/2021 13:37 | Calculating NAV on a bunch of unlisted investments is impractical and a bit meaningless tbh, so I disagree with your point. The valuation of unlisted companies can remain static for many months at a time until a triggering event such as a round of financing is completed. | dplewis1
19/2/2021 13:36 | Suddenly the three-year high doesn't look far away :-) | yogaboy
19/2/2021 13:16 | Tweet 1 hour ago from Ed McDermott in reply to Doc Holiday comment on FFWD - Thanks Doc. Appreciate your support, balanced view and it's always good to be vindicated. I have big ambitions for #FFWD so I'm very far from being content. As publicly stated a number of times, I want us to become the largest #cannabis and wellness investor in the UK. | bdog51
19/2/2021 13:16 | I'd never go short in a share, its unethical and immoral. Doesn't mean I won't call out a ramp when I see one. Like I said, I'll sell you a £10 note for £15 because that's exactly what's going on here. NAV as stated by the company only a few weeks ago was something like 9.4p | 1retirement
19/2/2021 13:03 | Aaaah... normal service has resumed! | yogaboy
19/2/2021 12:59 | Is Leap Gaming anywhere near an IPO? | dplewis1
19/2/2021 12:58 | Sorry, ignore | dplewis1
19/2/2021 12:57 | Until the last few days FFWD has been unloved for years so interest is only just returning. It is only getting back to where it was 3 years ago and clearly it’s investments have moved forward a lot since then. So as a long term holder the rerate in my opinion starts from here. | 888icb
19/2/2021 12:57 | Times article on Emmac - 400m valuation | dplewis1
19/2/2021 12:45 | He's not messing about is he.. no wonder his twitter says 'go hard or go home' | dplewis1
19/2/2021 12:44 | Must be flush, I like to buy stocks when they are totally unloved and not much interest but each to their own. I was kind of hoping FFWD offloaded Knb for over 40p but clearly they are long term but nothing wrong with a bit of savvy trading. I know if my shares were up 7 fold in a week I'd be gone and off house hunting with the money. | dave4545 |
