19/1/2012 20:54 | Come on Chris, it's a new start now, 2 great compaines FOGL/BOR with BOD with decent track records, acarage to dream for, one of the top 33 rigs in the world arriving over the weekend. Let's try to put the bad old North Basin days behind us, and forget about the lying, money grabbing, jazz loving,Phipps behind us.errrrrrrrrrrr | ![]() mr hangman
19/1/2012 17:45 | Yes and let's not forget the rock ! | ![]() falklands
19/1/2012 17:43 | Chris is mellowing, he used to want to do unseemly things to Phipps' grave.......... | ![]() eburne1960
19/1/2012 16:25 | Chris, let's try to keep this thread positive, errrr just the thought of those Phipps makes my blood....err | ![]() mr hangman
19/1/2012 15:47 | Hangman- make no mistake, if FOGL comes up dry there will be a sharp drop in FKL. However, what you say is right, in the longer term that setback will be more than overcome with the increase in value of the Falklands Islands Company part of FKL. So, long term no risk. Short/Medium/Long term much upside. | ![]() whackford
19/1/2012 13:48 | Mmm well at 60p you could use fkl as a giant pension fund for life living off the dividends with giant capital growth over long term ! | ![]() falklands
19/1/2012 12:13 | Yes, chris, I got into these a long time ago between 60-80p. Still a big fan, though my holding's so big it might be tricky to sell. Still, the lack of liquidity works both ways, any interest in these makes them shoot up disproportionately. As we are now seeing! | ![]() eburne1960
19/1/2012 12:10 | Yes just imagine if people want to put in a few large buy orders.. | ![]() mr hangman
19/1/2012 12:02 | Amazing how this has moved on such little volume. | ![]() ifthecapfits
19/1/2012 11:40 | Back down to earth fkl share price fell just as hard on Toroas failure last time however long term it is another way to derisk with an income. I know mr e is a big fan buying cheap....... | ![]() falklands
19/1/2012 11:21 | Whackford, at the current value, there is not much downside even if BOR/FOGL come up dry but the upside.... | ![]() mr hangman
19/1/2012 11:18 | Hangman - yes, it's gradually, very very gradually, begining to dawn on people. FOGL may or may not succeed. RKH have already guaranteed the Falklands story as regards infrastructure - shops, vehicle agency, insurance agency, fishing licences etc. Place safe and go for "picks & shovels"! | ![]() whackford
19/1/2012 10:48 | It's good to see..at last people are seeing the value here. | ![]() mr hangman
