I sit and read the Falanx investor boards once every couple of weeks and laugh nervously. Everyones an expert. Well newsflash. I've been here ten busy weeks and I've not seen daylight. Not one of these posters clocked my arrival. The fact the security company I created on thin air just got bought out in an MBO backed by Tenzing afer becoming the defacto standard. Too funny, I'd have really thought someone would have said "theres this guy from Gartner who just landed, who sort of has a track record in making revenue and marketshare – why did he get in at the bottom ? Why did he choose Falanx all of a sudden, what does he know that we don't ??". Nothing. Radio silence, not one blink. It seems that folk are too busy speculating about stuff to spend time doing due diligence which is hilarious for me as a shareholder getting in at a stupidly low market valuation.NOBODY has a clue what we've been doing, what I've been driving, and this is going to be if nothing else a positive shot in the arm and to make people sit up fast.I don't put my name on things that fail, and theres a reason I've been very very quiet. I haven't even appeared on the Falanx website out of choice although that will change any day soon. However folks, when we go live this is going to be done properly with a service that people consume because it's world class. I know one model, make longterm growth revenue. Following the SAME model as I created at SmoothWall at a price break where the competition don't have an offering to compete in a market that has a need for better security capability. Cloud is here, enterprise workloads are migrating, security compliance is harder and if you go read the articles I've written in the press over the years (see the press section in the site menu) and read between the lines then you are armed to make a sensible guess about whats about to land.Watch this space, subscribe to my podcasts along with the tens of thousands of security folk, analysts and journalists who choose to trust what I have had to say for the last five years to the intelligent masses. If the CIO of US.Gov listens in maybe you should too.

4 months life expectancy
even if they have reduced it , say life expectancy is 6 months so who will pay the wages in June?

So, has anyone found out what a typical cost for a SOC and a SIEM is ? Then you could perhaps have a guess at what a MidGard installation might bring in.

Or just stick to guessing what sort of RNS might or might not appear.

Suppose they say they've got a contract with a university, but don't mention the value. Don't you think it might be a good idea to find out a little about what they would expect to pay...

Otherwise the RNS will be no use, other than to pump and dump. Then you might find out that you should have held. Or not...

I couldn't care less on the market integrity side of things - I'm just glad news is inbound in light of the recent selling. I just hope it's substantive and reclaims the ground we've lost recently. I don't think I could have written a better blog myself and I've been a bull on this stock for some years now.

They've been advertising a few job vacancies recently. Four in the last month as I look now:

For Once I Agree with you Nealythere nearlythere - 04 Dec 2017 - 10:45 - 3414 of 3416 - 1I not sure what people are complaining about, this is very good news either way.In a couple of weeks falanx will release some news, if it turns out to be as good as the article suggests then great and things can move forward. If however this goods news ends up being another minor acquisition or a small contract win then I will know management statements are worthless. The type of news is not known, a major tie up with a big company or perhaps midgard being integrated into a blue chips cyber offering, who knows (hopefully all of us in 2 weeks), but it has to be imo something substantial and financially important.I am still not sure how they get to break even from here but in 2 weeks time I will have a much better view of this management integrity and if the previous statements were based on fact or fluff.

I'm mildly surprised that he thinks it is ok to write a blog that verges on being price sensitive aparrently a couple of weeks before any company announcement.Last year the agm announcement was on 15 December. Can't see a date for this year?

The company seems very confident so this seems a great opportunity to buy in at a very low price. If Midguard is successful FLX will multibag so risk/reward looks good
