As has been highlighted, I would expect second half revenues to be above markedly above first half. It all depends if the company is pulling a fast one and if they're trustworthy. We'll see in due course.

The increase in cash burn is likely due to the company developing it's new product, MidGard. Now the product has been developed and launched I'm expecting a decrease in cash burn and an increase in revenue. That's clearly the view of the company as it is forecasting profitability by the end of the financial year.

Maybe you should use your eyes more than your ears and read the midterm figures,

o Group Revenue +18% increase

o Cyber Revenues +40% increase

o Intelligence Revenues +9% increase

He seems happy to report the above but failed to mention the 100% rise in cash burn or that the £100k increase in cyber revenue costed 500k

Company statements that present the good news and ignore the bad are imo worthless.

No I am not an expert, I bases my views on the released figures at the midterms.
They show a 200k cash burn and about ( in September) 0.8 million left. You do not need to be an expert to determine that if profitable income is not generated soon then they run out of money. Sooner or later a company has to make money from its current products or the next disruptive product will again be paid for by shareholders and not paying customers.
As for management expertise in cyber and knowing the market, after 2 years it does seem to have helped shareholders or generated profits which i assume is the object of most companies, but i am hoping that will change in the near future.

Not long to wait now.

"...if it just the launch of another disruptive product like midgard or minor modification then it is all nonsense"

And you're an expert in cyber security - you know the market inside out? You know what services and products businesses are looking for? I'm all ears chap.

Nevertheless DM has reputation with security folks they listen when he speaks over 100000 listened last month to his podcast he has a standing in the sector so i am pretty sure whatever he is launching will be taken seriously and shareholders of Falanx will be rewarded within medium to long term...

I agree yump if it just the launch of another disruptive product like midgard or minor modification then it is all nonsense. If they do produce an RNS not mentioning how their new product midgard is doing, it would imo it would mean no customers or contracts worth mentioning.
Producing new products is good but producing profitable income is the important requirement now, as imo the cash burn is far too high.

Why the excitement about some sort of potential launch ?

If anyone here has ever been involved in launching anything other than a paper aeroplane, you'll know that the launch is the thing where everyone gets excited about how great the product is. The meeting in the boardroom takes place later where the harsh reality of actually generating revenue hits home.

I wager rights issue soon enough

The longer it takes the weaker the business gets

The less cash it has the less likely any one will give it business in fear of it going bust

Ask yourself one question
In the interims why did they not mention the operating loss in the headline

Loss attributable to equity holders of the company (£)

From (729,760) loss to a loss of (1,011,558)

That was for SIX months LOSS
The lost one million pounds in six months

The only had one million cash at end of September

That means six months from end sept which is THE CASH RUNS OUT IN MaRch

Another day gone, less cash in the kitty

Jay Abbott, a Falanx director, tweeted "interesting read." in reply to DM so he is certainly aware of it. It sounds like the company is really going to attack the SME market with a compelling product that's very competitively priced.

If the company's product is as good as they believe it's going to be an exciting few months. With the GDPR legislation coming into force in May 2018 the company's sales team will be pushing against an open door with such a competitive product.
