10/12/2018 18:57 | Thanks Ch1rp, appreciated. I work in the music business (IT) and think this is a new exciting revenue stream. | beastman
10/12/2018 18:17 | I have 3 VR related companies on a watchlist - EVRH, IMMO and VRE. The first two are more close in their customer-base. Are there any other (small cap) listed companies in the VR/AR field? All are a recent IPO/launch and have a 31st Dec year end. It could be interesting to see how each are progressing. Turnover, Net loss, Cashflow (anticipated fundraising?), KPIs, forward looking statements etc. For each company, I can't imagine there being a valid reason that the results take too long to publish/audit, and in the meantime, there may be trading update(s). I've no holding in any at the moment, but could be interested post-results. I'm not viewing VR as the next Dot-Com bubble (as there's not enough companies jumping on the bandwagon ! lol), but more along the lines of the 'graphene' companies - Great product/prospects, but need to work out what to do with it to take full advantage :o) | dsct
10/12/2018 17:01 | Yes Jak, this year will end in three weeks time and of course it will be a loss. Melody only launched in May. Until then it was a 'blank sheet of paper.' Likewise the Go, and as sales have built up during the holiday season as presents, most of them will not get used until after Christmas. Therefore there will be very little impact on this years figures. No-one is expecting anything else. Don't you think things will be a lot more interesting this time next year, and probably a lot of fun as well! | birtwhistle
10/12/2018 16:44 | The technology is all from their side. It's not going to be how fast is it from their side. The tech is new but out there and involves EVRH putting it in place. It's the same with th music. There are ways and means which are developing in the background. Like anything else these improve over time. Like the next apple, the next Samsung, so Oculus and others will roll out the tech which allows the user better experience. People are blown away with the tech as it stands and as it stands it's worth the experience but this will build as the tech builds:))) | ch1rp
10/12/2018 16:28 | but do most users have a fast enough internet connection to watch live ? I see many reviews saying keeps freezing ? | mister md
10/12/2018 16:11 | Oculus Go £200, concerts from £10. People will roll up roll up:))) | ch1rp
10/12/2018 15:52 | FFS chill, I am a shareholder, I don’t have a headset and was just wondering how much it costs to view the concert. | beastman
10/12/2018 15:10 | No I’m not saying that, my original question was how much will it cost VR users to watch the Liam concert. | beastman
10/12/2018 14:43 | So Beastie Boy (and Jak). You're saying the books won't balance. Lack of experience could be a problem I suppose, with the new CFO only having been 22 years at Universal! | birtwhistle
10/12/2018 14:09 | "How much are they paying Liam for the privilege of broadcasting the event?" Oh FFS, just read the past reports. Licensing/royalties splits are in place! | adventurous
10/12/2018 12:38 | The shorters can try their best, but this share's uptrend will go up and up as live VR concerts snowball into the summer festival months.Go for it, Melody VR:))) | ch1rp
10/12/2018 12:33 | So is that what they do at The Mad Hatters Tea Party? Spend the day demolishing the share price | birtwhistle
10/12/2018 12:31 | Haha, good question Jaknife, yes i’d Like to know money in and money out for this event | beastman
10/12/2018 10:51 | Out of interest does anyone know how much they are charging for the Liam event? | beastman
10/12/2018 10:20 | A minute ago, you could both buy & sell at same price, 5.60p! | davethechef
10/12/2018 10:07 | Trading stock Profit taking 5p looks on | kaka47
10/12/2018 08:58 | Bit of a tree shake first thing. Only good news a coming from Melody:))) | ch1rp
09/12/2018 23:05 | Jak is long on some stocks. Especially if they feature holly willabooby. Lol | dosser50
09/12/2018 18:07 | But who knows? He may have been spending all week-end frantically working out what to do with his stack of deramps. | birtwhistle
09/12/2018 16:52 | The JakNife persona will never admit that investment for growth can be sucessful on any AIM listed company. | maxdba85 |
