22/11/2018 07:17 | Jak, more importantly I think at the moment is the question how many people are discussing VR itself? The music will come if VR takes off. | trumpingtonsmythe
21/11/2018 17:14 | Good at least Jak that you've taken the trouble to reply to us all individually. But whereas gamers have been using VR sets for years the music tech has only just arrived. Melody now have to make themselves known. There can't be that many outside of this BB who even know of them yet. As we've said between us countless times on here, judge them in 24-36 months time. It is ridiculous to say at this stage of the game that music fans are not interested in watching gigs. Music fans are many and varied. It will not take many millions of users to make this business a success. | birtwhistle
21/11/2018 16:55 | They haven't even promoted their first live concert yet, so obviously none, at the moment. "but no music fans do because they're not interested in watching VR concerts." There is a huge market for watching live concerts on TV. The switch to VR is not if but when. There will also be a price point, when buying a VR headset, is not such a big deal for the many, then it will just mushroom, like FB did. Meanwhile, Zuckerberg looks forward to the time when FB users link up at an online concert, where he can sell even more advertising, hence why he's investing millions. He has the benefit of understanding the time it can take to reach a large market, he's patient, real investors need to be as well - those looking for a quick return should not be looking at this company. Just a reminder though JakNife, 'cause I know how confused you have been in the past: EVRH owns Melody VR. Melody have products, a back catalogue that will grow in value. EVRH do not manufacturer VR Headsets. Its tough breaking new ground rather than entering a market already established and therefore high risk. | adventurous
21/11/2018 11:50 | JakNife should already know that, as I've told him before!! He had an agenda from day one and is not giving way, regardless of Zuckerberg's plan to see over a billion users of VR headsets - who do you believe will eventually be proven right in the years to come? JakNife or Billionaire Zuckerberg :-) | adventurous
21/11/2018 11:27 | I don't think NextVR have done any live concerts for the artists signed to Sony, Universal, Warners et al. Also I don't think there have been any significant live VR concerts at all this year. Happy to be corrected on this one. | maxdba85
21/11/2018 10:49 | Jak, first you tell us the 'target market' are not interested. (surely the target market is anyone who likes music). If that is so how come Next have done 'plenty of live concerts' as you put it? You can't have it both ways. Anyway they're probably best at minor sports events, and the music is best left to Melody. What does the Next library consist of, assuming they have one? | birtwhistle

20/11/2018 23:24 | There haven't been any live concerts yet, but there will be!!! Mark Zuckerberg, who has a bit of money, is working to his plan, to expand the use of VR headsets to over a billion. Melody only need a fraction of that future market to be a huge success, but like many other tech products, it takes time. | adventurous
20/11/2018 20:08 | The target market don't frequent this board. If kids like VR it's a winner, if not then it's not. There is enough money to give VR a chance but I ain't a fortune teller. | trumpingtonsmythe
20/11/2018 17:37 | I recently asked myself an important question; would I use this devise to watch gigs? The answer is no, however I still hold as I still think it's a good concept and hope it will take off. | rlivsey
19/11/2018 08:47 | dsct virtual reality is definitely the future. As costs fall and headsets get cheaper and mobile phones become vr headsets. Music artists want an extra revenue stream and Melody vr provides that. | rick678
17/11/2018 23:06 | FVR is the VR medical play, held via tern. Dyor | still waiting
17/11/2018 19:31 | I can see a good lift in share price heading towards Xmas, loads of market exposure | rakepat37 |
