So much for consolidating around 7p. It won't consolidate at all so long as Merian are still around. The fact that they haven't closed their position would suggest they don't feel threatened by a squeeze. But the sooner they are got rid of the better. Hopefully the next phase of the squeeze won't be too long coming, otherwise the price will just drift back down again.

Whole market is down today so no surprises here. As a lifelong pro musician, I assure you this concept will work. As a matter of fact, I am just about to make some VR content for this company myself. I have had plans for this for a few years but was waiting for the market to develop a bit first. That time is here.

What possible worry can you have with Merian sweating it out? The only thing that matters is they have to buy back 12m shares at some point to close their short position. That can only be a positive for other shareholders. You can't buy that many shares without it having some positive benefit to the share price ..IMO it's brilliant news that they weren't the cause of the big share price jumps this wk. It means the buying was from elsewhere. The scale of it was very encouraging & feels like the early stages of a recovery from a totally oversold situation. If momentum continues over next couple of weeks (notwithstanding some down days in between) then the longer Merian's position stays open, the better for us imo.

This isn't a big drop at all. It's a tech share. It went up by a huge amount and then some took profit. It will be as volatile as this for a while so you better get used to the ride. Just look at Tesla. It's massive now but ridiculously volatile.

My only concern is that Merian could be trying to sweat this out, unless there is a time limit for them to buy back. The share price fell today for no apparent reason, so how long will the big hitters continue the squeeze? Alternatively a good RNS will always spike the price up but that works equally well in opposite when there aren't any. September was a good example when the price fell by a third.

SHORT UPDATE - just seen update from FCA and Merian (Old Mutual) still at 0.92% as of close yesterday!! So the 2 huge days of buying this week (well over £1m pounds of buys) came from elsewhere! Bodes very well indeed! + this 12m of shares still need to be bought back by Merian so short squeeze not even started yet!! Happy days folks!!

Few tech shares make it to the sky, but of course some do (e.g. ARM). VR could be the next graphene, or the next quantum dots, or the next hydrogen fuel cells....!

Here is a scenario that will be happening right now:A huge concert at the 02 (for example) will be able to be watched by a group of fans in China or Japan or wherever in a way that has never been experienced before. The market is just ridiculous. Soon, this will be understood and we will see a VR boom that will rival 1999.

I doubt that. I really don't think that the potential for VR is fully understood yet. It has been judged on a shaky start with high priced tech. But this is the future and the future is not very far away now. The early movers will get the cream. And that will be an awful lot of cream. This sector is going to be HUGE when this is mass market.
