22/10/2006 18:12 | Imminent Phase II results in hay fever are creating the interest in the stock but daily volumes arent huge. The price was hit over the summer apparently by a distressed seller but the loose stock seems to have been taken up as the chart has turned the corner. The stock price should do well from now in the run up to the Phase II results, which are expected by the end of the year and my guess is they could be out as early as next month. | golden lane

07/10/2006 06:19 | One of two possible reasons, a deal with a large US pharma or imminent trial results. The third is market 'noise'! | drsmessguide

12/9/2006 09:27 | Bought more today on the strength of these results. I particularly like the statement re rEV131 rights discussions being ahead of schedule, expect an announcement soon I suspect Highlights • Two Phase II trials underway for lead product candidate rEV131 o Results from rEV131 allergic rhinitis trial on schedule to be delivered by the year end o Results from rEV131 post-cataract eye inflammation trial due in the first half of 2007 • rEV131's novel mechanism of action demonstrated • Discussions with potential partners for rEV131 rhinitis rights ahead of schedule • Positive rEV576 preclinical results. On track to take rEV576 into clinical development in 2007 o Myasthenia gravis - orphan drug potential o Guillain-Barre Syndrome - orphan drug potential o Asthma • Cash balance of £13.2m (2005: £12.2m) • Well placed to deliver significant progress in next 12 months Mark Carnegie Brown, Chief Executive of Evolutec, said: 'The first half has seen a strong momentum with the commencement of two Phase II rEV131 trials and positive preclinical results with rEV576 in three different indications. 'This gives us a platform for a period of significant progress. Results from the Phase IIb rhinitis trial are imminent which means Evolutec will deliver 4 clinical trial results in the next 12 months. In addition, discussions with potential partners for rEV131 respiratory indications are ahead of schedule and we aim to have rEV576 in clinical development in 2007. | drsmessguide

23/8/2006 08:06 | I agree judge jury - that fundraising may cause some pain. They are however likely to carry out the fundraising when the share price is higher than it is today, assuming that they dont flunk the trials. So far the fundraisings have been carried out at 125p, 140p and 160p respectively. I would expect that the next and hopefully final one will be in the 180p-200p range provided that we have some trial result success. Right now, im in for the short term (3 months) as I believe there is money to be made by being long in the runup to the interims and trial results. | jonfa
23/8/2006 07:50 | Its the bit about financing on page 10 that worries me: "Our model suggests that Evolutec will have to raise in excess of £15m in 2006/07 to execute these plans, in the absence of an upfront payment on a licensing deal for rEV131 in allergic rhinitis." I think I need to see more of an indication that a licencing deal is a possibility before dipping my toe. | judge jury
22/8/2006 16:02 | In case you didnt see it, edison note issued in July. | jonfa
22/8/2006 15:43 | I have just built up a position again in EVC. The company now has a market cap of £28m with estimated cash of about £10m. This stock must be due a serious rerating soon with the three trial results due in the next 6 months - two of them in this calendar year including the allergic rhinitis IIb. I would expect a nice run up to interims on the 12 sept. This seems to have been a pattern for all previous interims/finals. Besides that, the potential of this company is obvious... | jonfa
06/8/2006 09:29 | Mallet3 Did you glean any idea when the next set of clinical results is due? | georged

02/7/2006 16:10 | looks like £1.20 or less is the next support level..... | halfpenny
20/6/2006 08:48 | pineapple1, I'm still in and hopeful. | horneblower
20/6/2006 07:18 | New to this BB but hoping for great things from EVC. Just topped up. | jdlamb
20/6/2006 06:41 | Well another phase 2 trial starting. This company is totally off most peoples radar(as can be seen by me talking to myself.....ahhh peace and quiet),but as i,ve said before has the potential to be an absolute blockbuster. No selling of any kind over the last few weeks has seen this walked back down to these levels by the MM,S to stimulate some business.Seems like the holders here are mature enough to see the games they play.If they can't get business going down then perhaps they should try increasing it to reflect the true value.I hate mm's with a vengeance. imho | pineapple1
17/6/2006 17:43 | Tipped as a "buy" in the Daily Mail today with a fair value of £2.28 | pineapple1 |
