22/6/2006 09:23 | In the Shares magazine today; does anyone know what the article says? | mangal
22/6/2006 09:00 | Thanks. I know that the stakes in China Education Group and Dalian are worth more than EPE but they do not generate any revenue, and there is no immediate prospect of them paying a dividend. The only way to realise this value would be to sell part of their stake, but the market is too illiquid for this to be done. This is why I`m interested in how Bournemouth 2000 and Management International are performing. These need to make a profit to cover the EPE admin costs. Management International website is no good as it is still displaying "Fees up to 31/12/2003". | tyranosaurus
22/6/2006 08:32 | The results will be out a week tomorrow at the latest so Ive been told. | genesisofthedaleks
21/6/2006 17:51 | What day are the results due ? | tyranosaurus

16/6/2006 06:00 | It looks like that seller has been cleared(?). Hopefully the IC comment on EPE being grossly undervalued will see the share price rise from here once the market wakes up to EPEs potential. | timely

10/6/2006 12:31 | Unfortunately EPE seem to have failed to keep abreast of the rapid expansion of the requirement for English language teaching. They have failed to take full advantage of the opportunities. Now other bigger educational organisations are now developing interests in English language opps in China. If EPE have 'underperformed' in their sector previously, then despite being apparently undervalued now, then what 'hope' for the future? | don muang
10/6/2006 11:03 | I think it comes down to timing. If you are looking to invest or build the stake then an opportunity is coming as the price comes down. The company investments are in the main listed and the 'value' is there for all to see. But any selling (and my fear for some time was that the main guy from siit would start to do so - naturally I dont know if it is him) will bring the price down due to the illiquidity. Well we will see... | gagner2006
10/6/2006 10:19 | The seller is now only getting 4.75p. Does he know something or is he a forced seller ? How many has he got left ? | tyranosaurus
10/6/2006 05:08 | Old airport will remain there for the Air Force.... as will the golf course.... | don muang
09/6/2006 23:45 | Sanapabhandrumdididu | knowing
09/6/2006 23:40 | Don Muang, what are you going to do when the New airport opens lol! | john hampton
09/6/2006 20:02 | and the other question is .... if he is (was) such a large holder he must have been become a shareholder for reasons other than a hunch / whim .... and so now must be selling for a reason .... doesn't bode good but I guess time will tell ....... eventually | don muang
09/6/2006 19:08 | If its the same seller surely he can't have a lot left after the latest 250k sell today? | timely
09/6/2006 08:38 | Marked down this morning. Took the opportunity to buy 40k. | tyranosaurus
07/6/2006 18:49 | And another 100k today. Price will not go up until he`s finished. | tyranosaurus
06/6/2006 18:32 | The 100k selelr was in action again today. 100k sold at 5p. His lowest price so far. | tyranosaurus
05/6/2006 19:15 | One concern I have concerning EPE is thier seeming inability to take advantage of the adult English Language teaching requirement going ballistic in China over the last couple of years. If they had simply grown at the same rate as the market requirement then they'd be much bigger by now. As to the future? English is now being introduced into all Chinese Primary Schools ... so over the long term then the adult requirement will decrease (as all educated pupils are likely to be speaking English fluently by the time they finish high school). | krishall
05/6/2006 18:52 | Rex - they are sat on a PE of approx 10 (after dilution for the fundraising) + have the cash from fundraising - assuming they use it for expansion wisely the current mkt cap of DBIL looks fair imo. | james 2 |
