30/3/2018 10:46 | Sorry to hear that Jus. Good luck whatever happens. | caters
30/3/2018 09:02 | Hi spangle. Would love to know your thoughts on Brockham. | guesswhosback
30/3/2018 08:29 | Oh blimey Jus sorry to hear that. Was that news a complete surprise? No young kids to worry about I hope? | dunderheed
30/3/2018 07:33 | I know Brunston Castle but never played there. The last and only time I played the Ailsa it cost me £5 which was about half a weeks wage in those days. Given that my wife told me last night she was divorcing me things can't get much worse so here's hoping that we have hit rock bottom and are on the way back up... | jusmasel99
29/3/2018 17:54 | Well Jus, if you ever get up to South Ayrshire, you are welcome to a free round at Brunston Castle Golf Club & we are only 7 miles from Turnberry, so you could also play a round there, if you want to waste £375 on a round of golf on the Ailsa course, after EOG rockets to 15p, on a combination of good onshore & offshore news!!!!!!!! Now at least, you can refer to another deluded long term sufferer who has hopes above expectations!! LOL (a bit like my golf)!!!!!!!!!!!! | enfranglais
29/3/2018 15:02 | Rogerlin - I tested the Brockham well in 1988, and it wasn't new then. Yes, I imagine it will be a lot better than this. PS It's a very picturesque site ;-) | spangle93
29/3/2018 09:07 | Brockham Oil Field has resumed production at 21 bopd. The Company expects this flow rate to increase to roughly 35 bopd within approximately 7 days, once initial water slugging has stopped. Hope Holmwood will do a bit better than this! | rogerlin
28/3/2018 21:39 | Well if you say so mate re seismic. I don't know enuf about it guv... Whilst I realise he got paid significantly more than eog 'mgt' team you could say as well, they still get relatively highly paid compared to the value they add? Still one lesson here, perseverance paid off. All imho of course. | dunderheed
28/3/2018 21:06 | DH, he sure has, and he's earned a small fortune in the process! The change in seismic made a huge difference | tommy241
28/3/2018 21:03 | 6784, Hey he's been mktg that 'asset' for years now so well done him!! | dunderheed
28/3/2018 21:02 | Oh I wasn't talking about you Jus of course not but, good to hear that you're fit and well?! | dunderheed
28/3/2018 21:02 | DH, IMO it's more to do with the improved seismic & improved OP rather than Tony O'R's ability to blag. It's a good deal in my view, certainly better than no deal. And certainly good news all round for offshore Ireland. | tommy241
28/3/2018 18:04 | The cheerleader was playing golf today - getting ready for the new season and starting off with three birdies and a hot putter ... All I can say about the PVR deal is that it is a deal and one that requires a lot of attention to the detail if you are a PVR investor. The questions PVR shareholders should ask is how much of Barry roe will they retain if it eventually goes into production and exactly how are they going to pay off the costs of getting it into production which are not covered by the deal. | jusmasel99
28/3/2018 17:33 | Exactly Tony o' R is hardly a technical expert and he's somehow finally managed to blag someone into farming in lol!! I'm bloody surprised the cheer leader wasn't here at 07.01 forecasting 20p by next Friday for eog! I do hope he's alright? I'm assuming he is on holiday? Best of luck all and once again all imho. | dunderheed
28/3/2018 17:23 | Does Hugh read this bulletin board anymore? If I were in his boots, I'd find that quite a personal challenge. | caters
28/3/2018 15:23 | PVR action in Irish Atlantic has to help us, come on Hugh lets have something concrete, and not dreams which are years away | currypasty
28/3/2018 12:35 | I think that Providence deal might impel others to make deals sooner rather than later, on the assumption that this is just the tip of a Chinese government economic plan. The Chinese will be providing the rig and crew. Is that a first in Celtic/North Sea waters? Should be beneficial for drill costs in the future. | hashertu
28/3/2018 07:42 | Barryroe - farmout to Chinese consortium: | exmooroil
27/3/2018 21:25 | "Shell is moving on, Europa will soon take over" www.mayonews.ie/comm | tommy241
26/3/2018 17:22 | Corrib competition - in Southern Ireland there are two competing projects to supply EIre with LNG - Shannon and Cork - both would receive imports from Shale Gas USA. Problem for them is that they are both dependent on exporting gas to the UK. Exporting gas to the UK is feasible however it requires significant investment into the UK Gas Grid infrastructure in order that they can reverse the flow. That project is on the EUs wish list of Projects of Common INterest. Brexit unfortunately gets in the way. Extending the life of Corrib may be Eire's only answer to the risk of being totally dependent on the UK for their gas supply once Kinsale and Corrib reach the end of their lives. I would be greatly surprised if the Irish Government is not monitoring EOGs claim to have 2.5 TCF with some seriousness. | jusmasel99
26/3/2018 17:05 | GWB - they do consult - they don't submit a TMP that isn't pre-approved by the Council planners - it is the committee that objects - that's the game. | jusmasel99
26/3/2018 16:54 | They could have consulted. I don't believe that they are not to blame. It's always someone else. | guesswhosback
26/3/2018 16:30 | Mr CP The last one they submitted was complete then the idiots decided to include the M25 in it. This time around they probably said it doesn't include Newcastle so do it again. They are playing a stupid game. | jusmasel99
26/3/2018 16:01 | I hope you're right. Getting fed up of waiting for this Holmwood issue to pan out! | cheek212
26/3/2018 16:01 | if its incomplete, isn't that down to EOG? | currypasty |
