FinnCap sees massive upside

Analyst Jonathan Wright has a 43p price target for Europa, versus the current target price of 3.36p.

“Europa shares have been buffeted by frustrations with the UK planning process, as its Wressle development and Holmwood exploration well have both been held up by delays to application approvals.

“However, this has masked real progress offshore Ireland, where new and reprocessed seismic is expected to lead to increased prospectivity and reduced risk across its large exploration portfolio.”

Wright reckons Europa is set to relaunch its farm-out efforts for offshore Ireland in the next quarter, and, he highlighted that at least two wells could be drilled next year by third parties in the Atlantic

Yep do you know what would be better though?
Perhaps some of the directors themselves could put their hands in their pockets for non discounted options or buy one get too free staff incentives.
Just an idea of course....

Did they though? Looks to me like they were in at the floatation price of 20p and started selling prior to the drop in September/Oct when the price was still 25p. Can't say for certain obviously but looks like they made money to me but I could be wrong- only going by the holding RNS dates and the share price chart for the year.

I don't know anything much about David and Monique Newlands but I notice that they have investments in oil companies and were heavily invested in JOG. To cut a long story short, they seem to have bought in around Oct 16, the price went up, they found oil and then the Newlands sold up in October 17. Presumably they made a lot of money! Hopefully they are buying EOG for the same reason! Lol

Tommy I regret that I bought not looking into timing enough lol!
Had I bothered to check and could see the reporting was due then I certainly wouldn't have got caught up with the volume.
However I always did say I'd buy at 3.35p anyway just got greedy lol!
I'll be honest, it wouldn't be surprising if someone does finally farm in later this year for some of the Irish stuff?
It's hard to pick the bottom sometimes. I hope I'm not too far?

I tried to find their current pr agency. I'm on phone in doctors and likely to be gone soon but couldn't see it on rns but am on phone so not sure if this has anything to do with it? I'd be happy to write 'eventually' to clarify.
I personally cannot see why they could not buy now as they have highlighted to mkt they are looking for partners previously but I stand to be corrected.
All imho of course.

Who the hell has been cheer leading these guys for the last couple of years?
I wonder who is losing out more by listening to 'my drivel' or yours?
One things for certain it's not the mgt of eog!
Btw I never filter people because, from experience you sometimes pick up on an angle which you hadn't thought of before and it helps reduce the glare on the rise tinted glasses even sometimes I wear (With other stocks of course lol!).
