04/4/2018 08:13 | You are a cynic by nature Dunderhead. Why are you still here? Is it that you have a contract of difference? Sell and man up...or better still, stop your stupld posting on this thread! | rayrac
04/4/2018 07:57 | Jus what a ridiculous thing to say about OP!! When you see the results of the majority well run oil companies you will see they're significantly delivering better results than expected because they have developed a low cost business model then you look at lazy promote models where the mgt just print off more paper continually. These are the oil companies you want to avoid. Now which is eog lol?! When are these new mgrs going to buy some shares if eog are such a great deal. Best case scenario blue sky comes in simple.... how long has Hughie been promising this now?! | dunderheed
04/4/2018 07:54 | jam another day.! | los ricos
04/4/2018 07:51 | Results are as expected - no surprises with cash in the bank and good income. The potential for multi bagging is there and there is little downside risk from the current share price in my opinion. So if you are thinking about investing in Europa here is my opinion - in two parts. Worst Case Scenario Then we forget about Ireland completely - both the Porcupine and Corrib and concentrate solely on the current UK Onshore Assets. Current production will continue to decline of course and Holmwood may never be drilled but it is totally and utterly inconceivable that Wressle will not come into production or be settled by an expensive law suit. The Planning Inspector decision relates entirely to above ground conditions and it is beyond the realms of imgination that EDR cannot come up with a proposal to extract the hydrocarbons in a way that would meet with the inspectors approval. I am not saying that the council will approve them but the inspector will have to. So within a maximum timeframe of 2 years our production will benefit from an additional 200bpd. A company producing 250bpd at an OP of £50 will be worth at least our current Mcap surely. It is the absolute worst case scenario. Of course the Oil Price is open to fluctuation but within the next two years the effect of the lack of investment into exploration over the last 5 years will have its greatest impact on production while global consumption continues to rise. If you don't think the OP will continue to rise from here then you shouldn't be investing in the oil industry anyway. Best Case Scenario to follow : | jusmasel99
04/4/2018 07:48 | Well I'm pretty underwhelmed, amazing cash generation during thus 6 months with the oil price so high lol! | dunderheed
03/4/2018 23:14 | Yes but where could they have been if they hadnt spent so long looking at the lovely blue skies and then gazing into their navels after ? Were they responsible for the increasing oil price? So once we've stripped the impacts of the price variance (uncontrollable) then I think you'll be pretty under whelmed? That's my point and opinion. I hope I'm wrong lol! | dunderheed
03/4/2018 23:05 | 6816: results likely to be "very disappointing" and "very underwhelming results" care to shed any light on this? I'm expecting similar production rates to latest results with an approx OP rise of 25% for the period. | tommy241
03/4/2018 21:00 | Oh bloody hell I hope not. They're likely to be very disappointing (just like the mgt lol!). I thought it may have been some unknown news rather than the known underperforming mgt jam tomorrow speech that will go with some likely very underwhelming results. All imho of course. | dunderheed
03/4/2018 20:51 | Interim results were released on the 4th April last year - are we expecting figures tomorrow? Is this why the increased volume today maybe?? Will wait and see what 7am brings. | cheek212
03/4/2018 19:41 | That`s what Jus is about to find out? | enfranglais
03/4/2018 19:06 | Life in the old dog! | ducatiman
03/4/2018 15:53 | Highest volume day this year - fingers crossed for some good news. Or maybe director buys imminent. | cheek212
03/4/2018 13:38 | I've dipped back in and bought some but not showing yet? Had to pay 3.6. Here's hoping haven't over paid as I only really wanted to pay 3.35 but probably got a bit greedy (or actually nervous but it seems there are some people buying at this price now) and missed that 3.35p boat lol. I'm only buying for the potential of the assets, certainly not the quality of mgt so a bit of a big risk. Made the same mistake on aex where I swore I'd never buy another asset based stock, if I wasn't happy with the mgt lol!! | dunderheed
03/4/2018 12:35 | Jus, perhaps it's because I'm on the phone and can't 'see' as in laptop? I'll try and log in on laptop and take a look mate. CP are you the large seller lol?! They aint selling for lower than 3.6 on anything in excess of 250k so I've a feeling there are a few bottom fishers around? Here's hoping there is some form of good news coming? | dunderheed
03/4/2018 12:09 | Jus - you must be about the same age as me then m8?!! (ancient but not past the post)? Do not know if i should commiserate or celebrate your news but i expect you will have some people getting out the slide rule to see if they could afford it!!!lol Back to old EOGGY, been in & out of this share more times than (well, let your imagination do the rest) & it has always been a traders share & not one to hold, no matter what. Always done well buying in the 4-5p range & selling in the 8-10p range but got caught with 800k this time, as most in my SIPP & got caught with a change from Barclays to A J Bell, which has already taken over 2 months!!!!!!! Barstewards!!! Has anyone else got caught in the change to that misnomer Barclays smart investor, from Barclays Stockbrokers? They have messed up so much that clients are leaving in droves & my complaints are over the 50 mark in the last 6 months & have rec`d nearly £1,000 in compensation for errors & delays to date & am about to take 2 more cases to the ombudsman!!!!! Any other tales of woe here? | enfranglais
03/4/2018 11:16 | Thanks Mr CP - here is a titbit - make of it what you will - Shell's long term plans for Corrib when they started the project have been cloaked in secrecy but at the time they purchased the original ground for the production plant they bought 4 times as much as they needed ...... | jusmasel99
03/4/2018 10:43 | thanks for all the research Jus, sorry to hear things not going so well for you | currypasty
03/4/2018 10:29 | a lot of trades at 3.5, MM's must have stock to sell | currypasty
03/4/2018 10:27 | Some sold buying going on this morning so far - hopefully some good news on the near horizon! | cheek212
03/4/2018 10:20 | at the top of the page underneath ADVFN there is an envelope - click on that | jusmasel99
03/4/2018 10:00 | Jus you're going to have to do better than that mate. I'm an it fwit!! Previously I'd asked you to send me an e mail and you gave he instructions to find it but I couldn't then and I'm assuming you've done the same again?! Can you explain how to find this again please?! Lol. | dunderheed
03/4/2018 09:21 | DH I PM d you their exact response .. cheers | jusmasel99
03/4/2018 08:36 | 6799 ah ok well they could have stated Corrib area to you. That was what I was seeking clarification on? To be honest you Cain infer from this exploration further off as initial plans to maximise or maintain revenues or equally you can infer exploration may be earlier because they want to maximise upside from an obviously important asset for them? Here's hoping that it is early for eog sakes! Best of luck all and strength to Jus during this tough time matey. | dunderheed
03/4/2018 08:31 | Reserved for pram. | dunderheed
03/4/2018 08:31 | Thanks DH yes of course ... They can't plan a well on somebody else's licence!I was even given the name P7 ... An additional production well .. Which will boost production but decrease the life span of the field. So even more need for exploration drilling. | jusmasel99 |
