Gwb you're not on that programme on telly r u?
Is that realistic?
I have to use the courts to get rid of some renters actually. I can remember about 40 years ago being out with my uncle who casually said to me he was just popping into his ppty and then proceeded to go into house and throw out all the belongings of the student renters because they weren't looking after ppty properly! No courts no anything lol!!

The Wressle field is seen as a 'game changer' for Union Jack Oil and next month a new planning application is due to be submitted.

DH. Most have lied about their status, lied on their application forms and have trashed the premises, those with a genuine need are supported. That's my point there is a genuine need for oil and the law provides for it.

There is a theme developing here ...

Owner of Rika's cafe threatened with violence ... permission withdrawn
Cobham services threatened with 'action' ... permission withdrawn

Democracy in action ...

LHAG Newsletter:

Dear supporters

There’s a lot going on at the moment! Many of you will have received a host of emails from MWCD, who are Surrey’s Minerals and Waste planning department. It can certainly be confusing to keep track of what is happening, so here is an overview:

Traffic Management Plan

A workable Traffic Management Plan (“TMP”) continues to be as difficult for Europa to create as we have, for 10 years now, been warning them it would be. One of the many hurdles they have yet to overcome concerns the need for a holding area outside Dorking for lorries to wait in prior to their approach to Knoll Road and then Coldharbour Lane. In the Public Inquiry, they wanted to use a lay-by that we proved doesn’t actually exist. In their first attempt at a TMP after the Inquiry, they tried to use Rika’s Cafe in spite of not having permission for it. In their next attempts, they tried to use Cobham Services on the M25, but they don’t have permission for that either.

Two things happened next.

Firstly, Europa, using the bizarre logic for which they have become so famed, decided to appeal to the Planning Inspectorate. The appeal is against Surrey County Council’s (“SCC’s”) unwillingness to grant permission for the TMP that uses Cobham Services... in spite of the fact that they actually don’t have permission to use Cobham Services. Yes, I know how illogical this is!

Secondly, in spite of making this appeal, Europa also went on to create yet another new TMP with a fourth attempt at a holding area. This time, the holding area they tried to use was the lorry park on the A243 just south of Junction 9 on the M25. We all got sent emails from MWCD about this traffic plan on about 6 April 2018, but what most of us were not told was that this TMP was withdrawn just 4 days after it was submitted. Officially, no reason has been given, but we are sceptical that this fourth holding area is any more acceptable to those responsible for it than the second and third ones were.
So what should you do about all this?

Importantly, Europa do have an appeal into the Planning Inspectorate regarding their old TMP, even if it is one with no logic behind it. We gave extensive reasons why this TMP is unacceptable in Newsletter 58, and you will have written to SCC to object to it in early February.

If you wrote to SCC objecting to the September/October 2017 version of the TMP (version 11), those objections will be passed to the Planning Inspectorate. If you didn’t write, you can do so now and, even if you did, you could write again, adding the fact that Europa have been refused permission by Cobham Services to use it as a holding area.

Let me be clear I do not think they have been in closed period since they started.
Had they been, then EOG would have been able to explain that, because they are party to confidential, non publicly disclosed, ongoing commercial information, they are not in a position to purchase shares and if this were the case why didn't they announce this or people like myself will make similar assumptions?
Another own goal for the 'experienced' 'mgt' team at eog?
Please note all imho and please dyor however for sure, EOG should really clarify this situation if only to confirm my assumptions but, all we get is they cannot comment on current situation because it would be price sensitive, which as above prompts one to question why they didn't make my suggested pronouncement when they joined?
Serious question for serious debate.
Edit: That is not to say I didn't buy a few recently recently and may look to buy a few more over the next few weeks?

Assuming we are right in our assumption that the new directors (and Hugh and Phil) are not buying because of a closed period I think it is safe to assume that once that closed period is over and the news released (whatever it is) it will be met with considerable purchases from them immediately - on top of whatever retail investors buy on the news. Could be a considerable jump on the day. Here's hoping anyway.

Providence Resources presentation from today, looks like they are aiming to drill Newgrange next year as well as Barryroe and of course Nexen are also drilling.

DH. You can't be bothered to do your own research but then have the nerve to criticise others. I've often thought at times you raise very valid points, but I've had enough of your constant drivel and welcome you to the filtered list.

All the best with you investment and more importantly, your health.

Mate don't worry about my health.
Wtgr this is pocket money for me and I cant be bothered to contact the company. If you don't want to no problem but be careful what you are inferring from what they say that's all?
I'm just trying to point out if you don't ask the right questions, you can come away with a different view as to what's going on.
May I suggest rather than get tired reading my posts you just put me on filter then your health will not suffer as well?

DH. I suggest you contact EOG and / or their PR company for clarity with your query and perhaps DYOR instead of continually asking other posters for answers?

You continually slate the company and management, which is becoming very tiresome. Why have you invested here? I mean, it cannot be good for your health.

Cheers Roger. Much appreciated.
It doesn't look like we will have too much longer to wait for this company transforming deal then and hopefully directors putting their own hands into their pockets for such an under valued company with such great prospects as they keep on 'telling' us.

The Acquisition, which remains subject to customary conditions and receipt of all necessary government consents, has an effective date of January 1, 2017 with closing anticipated in the first half of 2018. At closing, Vermilion will assume operatorship.

Not if a deal has been done based on the approval of Vermillion as an operator - particularly if Vermillion are not directly involved with the deal. Releasing such news could have an impact on Vermillion's chances of being approved. There are many such scenarios and may not involve Ireland at all. What is certain - that if it is a closed period then the news hasn't got out - which is unusual for AIM

CP exactly.
I think EOG are being a little clever.
Wtgr Tommy should have sought clarification on whether the 'closed period' had been in place since the directors started. That would not be price sensitive especially since they have reported during this period!
I think someone* is clutching at straws a little and I think the market realises this!
Time for mgt change, time for mgt change, 'normal' companies expect senior mgt to put their hands in their pocket when they arrive and it is 'normally' part of their contract of employment. It's not like guys need. the money is it?
Draw your own conclusions guys and gals!!
LOL!

All imho of course.

Tommy that would be correct but did you ask whether the closed period had been since the new directors arrived because that would not be price sensitive.
Ie asking if in closed period now would be but clarification that they have been since the directors started would not be?
Sounds like eog are being a little economical with the truth here as dud you explain why you wanted to know this?
Thanks for enquiring by the way!
All imho of course!
