20/11/2017 15:18 | Nothing seems to be normal with this case! Perhaps if they are expecting news before the end of the year, then maybe a deal has been done as suggested by another poster on the final day of the hearing. | cheek212
20/11/2017 15:15 | post on LSE... "Thank you for your email. The timing of the decision for the Wressle public inquiry is not yet known. The inspector did not advise the likely timing of his decision at the inquiry as might be normal. As such we are awaiting advice from the Planning Inspectorate. It is likely to be before the end of 2017." | currypasty
20/11/2017 12:58 | The newly confirmed third party review of the Lidsey data and the earlier reviewed Brockham data indicate the hydrogen index Tmax plot for the Kimmeridge at Lidsey and Brockham to be within the same envelope as Horse Hill-1 and the analogue of the Bakken Shale formation. Similarly, S1 oil content and oil saturation index derived from it, for both the Lidsey and Brockham wells also fall in the same envelope as Horse Hill 1 and the Bakken. The Company believes this data demonstrates that significant producible oil has been generated. A further update from Angus today. | rogerlin
20/11/2017 09:15 | Any idea when we are going to here from the inspector re dates for hearing result? | cheek212

15/11/2017 21:03 | probably no move at the open in that case | bountyhunter
15/11/2017 20:55 | only 0.75% of shares in issue however with the price significantly above the spread throughout the day I guess the opening price tomorrow could well be higher than the 6.25/6.5 close trade type 'OK' = okay by me ;-) (market makers block trade) | bountyhunter
15/11/2017 20:10 | That should liven it up tomorrow. 4m at 6.72p | guesswhosback

15/11/2017 15:27 | I get the feeling a deal has been done ... Sequence of events .. a) over the weekend Egdon put out a document to local residents saying no reason for alarm - strange when the appeal is not yet over b) conditions are agreed very quickly that mitigate most of if not all of NLC arguments c) Egdon do not look for costs from NLC and probably the final clincher .. NLC have laid their case for refusal wide open and in detail. All the Egdon needs to do if the inspector finds against which I don't for a minute believe will happen - is to reapply for planning permission which they are perfectly allowed to do. Case closed M'lud | jusmasel99
15/11/2017 13:05 | can anyone explain to me why the protestors would use British Steel in their argument? Have they realised how much water they suck out of the ground, what harm that could do, where it goes after, what is produced in the steel making process, what goes up the chimneys? Are they for real thinking a steel factory is a plus for the environment, and should be protected at all costs? | currypasty
15/11/2017 12:36 | what is going on here? "The council says the refusal of the applications is justified on the basis of the evidence that it has now produced during the appeal, Mr Evans says" 11.24am Andrew McLeod "Mr McLeod says if we don’t solve climate change soon “we don’t solve it.”" | currypasty
15/11/2017 12:20 | I think the issue of costs is only decided after the issue of the decision notice. | jusmasel99
15/11/2017 11:55 | what about costs awarded? | itsriskythat
15/11/2017 11:29 | Drafts of final conditions discussed yesterday afternoon are handed in. Conditions that have changed following discussions include: Designated transport route Working hours Wheel-washing facilities Restoration and aftercare timing Surface water interceptor Inspection and testing of the impervious membrane Additional groundwater monitoring boreholes Highway condition survey Done and dusted ... for the planning inspector to refuse permission he would have to find another reason than those listed above. Looks very good to me but then we have all been here before. | jusmasel99
15/11/2017 11:23 | last day ? | currypasty
15/11/2017 11:03 | The facts of the Europa case were that he decided to interpret the exploration phase as mineral production and in doing so refused the appeal. The appeal court held otherwise in that the testing phase of exploration would not be classed as extraction rather exploration. At the appeal court as you will probably know only points of law may be considered. So in this case Europa did the entire UK Onshore E&P industry a favour. | jusmasel99
15/11/2017 10:22 | I did a search on the inspector yesterday and there are government stats online to May 2017 showing that he overturned circa 70% of the appeals he heard - can't remember the exact figure now and can't be bothered to try and find the report again but his figures looked pretty good despite the fact that he declined the Europa one. We don't know the facts behind that one and it was circa 5 years ago so fingers crossed for this one. | cheek212
15/11/2017 10:09 | Don't know whether this is bad news or good news but the LSE board reports that the inspector on duty for Wressle is the same inspector whose misinterpretation of the law caused the long delay at Holmwood. Planning inspector performance is regularly judged and I believe their stats are in the public domain. I am sure the inspector will be completely open minded though and approve our appeal! ;-) UKOG struck gas that didn't flow .. not the first company to reveal that this week .. anyway more layers to test and who knows they might be right .. but I would suggest that the chances of their share price being any greater than 8p in the near future are dim. | jusmasel99
15/11/2017 09:48 | While we're waiting .. ready for the off at Kirby Misperton | itsriskythat
