11/6/2013 10:05 | it may be a nice little earner for them. the city stinks, but if we are smart we can benefit from it. | careful
11/6/2013 09:53 | shorters and city handing this company on a plate to the trio, god help future companys under a bid! | karmastuartra
10/6/2013 19:36 | tanzz786 - Genuine question - If Kerimov is going to bid for this why is he not buying all he can at this price like Karma? | nolens volens
10/6/2013 10:21 | improved bid coming. | karmastuartra
10/6/2013 08:47 | thanks shorters, just picked up some more at bargain price. | karmastuartra
08/6/2013 20:42 | Careful I agree also, this will only go one way and just depends on price it gets done at. Kaz certainly getting a drumming, but could see them retrace substantially after the deal has been done. | shugsy
08/6/2013 15:55 | Toatally agree with you Careful | harmeet1981
08/6/2013 15:48 | it is hard to work out how a rival bid could succeed when the current bid consortium owns so many shares already. the consortium includes the Kaz government who must have some clout here. it is in fact a part nationalisation not unlike out banks. | careful
08/6/2013 11:38 | I can see this is not a done deal by a long way, come monday i will be grabbing more shares, enrc is not going to grabbed for next to nothing. its a shame the press and city cant see the logic in this thinking | karmastuartra
08/6/2013 10:39 | rees4 - my thinking was more along the lines of a bid by Suleiman Kerimov who recently upped his stake (by US750 Million in the Russian bank that is the major financier of ENRC - a cash only offer at £4 per share would surely tip the scales here and Kerimov has written to the regulator stating that the minimum acceptable offer should be £4 per share - lets wait and see but this saga is going to hot up.... | tanzz786
07/6/2013 14:11 | tanzz786. you may be right, glencore have raised 5 billion us dollars in last couple of weeks. all very cheaply is well. aimho | rees4

06/6/2013 09:14 | agm went without incident. directors reelected etc. next week, after the week end press leaks, should be interesting. | careful
05/6/2013 13:41 | Thats why they is appointing Dame Furse to the Bank of England. Nice job she did at the LSE and FORTIS Now go get bank of England. | hvs
05/6/2013 13:36 | Hold on ! NAV is over £5 per share and we are considering accepting a bid at under £3 ? Brilliant. Buying £1 coins at 60p each. They should be offering over NAV for the remainder. In fact, they should be obliged to bid at least that much. And the company is only in the mess it is in because of their mismanagement. It is a bloody disgrace !!! | dexdringle
04/6/2013 10:19 | from share price ANGEL today: ENRC (ENRC LN) 246p, mkt cap £3.16 billion ENRC founders given three week extension on offer · The founders of ENRC have been given a three week extension to resolve technical issues relating to their bid to take the company private. · The founders now have till 24 June to make a firm offer to buy the company. · The bidders have made a written assurance that they will be in a position to bid by this data. · While we see the Kazak founders as good horse traders, we also believe they will be good to their word, particularly with market conditions looking potentially better for ferrochrome in our view. · ENRC directors have also indicated that they expect to see an improvement on the terms offered by the founders.. Conclusion: Corporate governance issues have caused the shares to come down but no one can force the founders to raise their offer. It is disappointing that the poor governance of a company can effectively cause the withdrawal of such a solid underlying business from the listed market. The issue highlights the issue of having good and strong non-executive director guidance | pro_better
04/6/2013 07:19 | if glencore, xtrata bid is anything to go by then surely the bidder syndicate will not be able to count their share holdings towards the 75% exceptances required. as kazkhmys have signalled for a higher offer this gives small share holders a lot of power to get a higher offer. imo | rees4
04/6/2013 06:52 | Off course it was hranted. Thats how the STIKING CITY WORKS. | hvs
03/6/2013 15:14 | Extension granted. | jascat
03/6/2013 14:34 | If an extension had been granted, then as it was requested last week, it should have been granted by now. CLEARLY THE EXTENSION HAS BEEN DECLINED. HENCE we are awaitingthe deadline of 5pm for a finala nd unconditional offer. Either way I am happy. The market realises this company is worth a lot more but because of the dubious characters wanting to buy on the cheap that we have seen this share price trickle down to 240p. | noddy31
03/6/2013 13:53 | this is last minute stuff. we should know one way or another if an extension has been granted during the next 2 hours. | careful
03/6/2013 09:26 | how predictable of the market to carry on shorting this share in the face of an improved offer. | karmastuartra
03/6/2013 08:15 | Maybe the OLIGARCHS should visit the LSE and then onto The HOUSE OF LORDS it does wonders . Thats how the ESTABLISHMENT WORKS. | hvs
03/6/2013 07:27 | CNBC says enrc may sell parts of their business. Not much elaboration. | dr biotech |
