26/6/2019 14:20 | Platinum is now a cheap alternative to gold, which is just mad! Gold of course is still considered to be the global currency. Platinum, like silver, is largely industrial. Palladium is usually just a by product or platinum, is also industrial, but is very rare. | excellance

26/6/2019 13:02 | news I'm looking for on EUA is the update on performance of the new washer plant process and ore quality, and confirmation that 2nd wash plant is next year not this year. This will result in EUA rerating up, or lingering for another 5 months in current range. | ekuuleus
26/6/2019 12:54 | I'm inclined to agree ex. Looked at aaz and it's already bolted. I need to have a look at the fundamentals in detail but lookin at the chart, looks a little overbought and short term, volatility may mean there will be some better buying opportunities even if the momentum and fundamentals mean it will go higher. Waiting on EUA news before adjusting EUA position. Bought very small holding in ecr, and a medium in AAU. | ekuuleus
26/6/2019 12:31 | I added a couple of gold stocks yesterday, AAZ and ALTN but regretting the AAZ one already...timing couldn't have been worse, it's probably peaked for now...and today gold is easing, taking a breather. AAZ is of course a nice looking business, and I'm kicking myself for allowing gold fever to get the better of me...should have bought at 20 not 120. And there's the lesson for EUA. You can buy at 0.50 or wait and buy at 5p It's obvious, doh. 8( | excellance
26/6/2019 09:36 | I top-sliced my gold stocks yesterday morning... methinks global economics will add to the fire by autumn. Silver is that dead, can it ever wake up? | rhuvaal2
26/6/2019 09:31 | He did not read it Only want to have fun from us, If sinosteel applies only for 150 million, this means we would need to raise the 25 million | book5
26/6/2019 09:21 | Come on Russ - where have you read this? | pennstreet
26/6/2019 08:15 | Russianguru Do you have a link showing $150 million Sinosteel loan facility application? We will need more than that though Thanks | book5
26/6/2019 07:58 | We don't necessarily need $4m profit.... $1m would do, just to avoid the need for placings etc! | cyberbub
26/6/2019 07:45 | Gold taking a nice bath from 1440 Will eua get below 0.45 today Some good news for eua, looks like sinosteel is applying to banks for 150m facility, could it be Mt. | russiaguru
26/6/2019 02:54 | In another lifetime I worked for an american multinational, but they got into trouble and had to pay massive compensation to hundreds of thousands of ex employees, costing billions, so they sold off non core assets to pay up. A former director of said multi wanted to buy a division he'd set up years earlier, and he consulted the banks. A venture capital company came up with a plan, they would provide 80% of the cash but the director and associates must raise the remainder. Something similar could be happening here re MT. Maybe CS doesn't want to put $24m into MT and have total exposure, maybe he wants others to invest to mitigate risk and give us financial strength and flexibility, and of course there's also a strong probability that MT will get taken over. I wonder how much cash they want to raise and if they are anywhere near yet? | excellance
26/6/2019 00:44 | Interesting conjecture, Mr book Patience IS the key - I ask myself why the recent high-profile exposure to "the big boys" in terms of institutional investors / fund managers? I don't have an answer, but the question rattles around in my head It seems to be a display of extreme confidence, subject to bureaucracy .. The entire ballgame could change at any moment | cudgietoo
25/6/2019 22:31 | Last they said in 2019 production will be around 750 kg pt, That is $18 million What happened? It is anybody guess No good reasons given, just that reserves need upgrading before more washer plans can come to site Next year should be make or break year My guess is that banks don’t give credit to contractors unless reserves are upgraded first Reserves have not been upgraded yet bcs till now it was too costly to upgrade them. Now they have a cheap methodology that has been pre-approved by authorities (coring only, rather than coring and trenching) but needs at least one year more of production (or may 2 or 3....who knows ..) to validate it. I wait, no selling | book5
25/6/2019 22:06 | WK is always Jam tomorrow. Not great for an asset that is supposed to be keeping the lights on. 3 years ago they had a plan to be making circa $4M/year by now. What happened? | zhockey
25/6/2019 21:26 | It is, but is it "gold fever"? | excellance |
