One reason only. Retail punters have zero patience! Very low volumes usually ends up down as sellers (even small ones) dictate the share price AIM has gone to sleep today. One of lowest volume days I can remember in last 12 months...

It is fantastic that gold has finally broken out of it's trading range closing the week at $1400 on Fed interest rate concerns. The closing price this coming Friday is very important technically in determining the state of the end of the month candlestick charts. If gold is going where I think it's going this should put a floor under EUA's share price.

I am heavily invested in the Blackrock Gold Fund and in HC Charteris Gold Fund and I own a lot of silver bullion. But I also hold EUA (9,447,348), AAU (1,000,000) and GEO (1,800,000) in a separate trading account. I do not have any intention of selling anything. All of these are long-term holdings.

I believe that the future is very strong for real money (precious metals) in a world that is drowning in debt. People have been taking money out of the stock markets in ever increasing numbers with the markets at record highs and eventually this will lead to a market crash. Investors see precious metals as a safe haven in times of uncertainty so I wouldn't worry too much about daily fluctuations. The trend has finally turned up for PM's spearheaded by gold. Everything else will follow.

Looking across the gold mining sector, particularly the small cap aim listed ones, most have done very well recently as gold has broken out, but Eurasia only produces a small percentage of gold, while pt price is still performing badly...very annoying!

With pd at $1500 I expect the price of gold to rise above that in coming months, to maybe $1600.

Platinum will eventually catch up I'm sure.

Interesting to compare the situation at ECR with WK. At ECR's creswick gold prospect they found a nugget in one sample, then looked back and found more nuggets in other sample bags, and now have to fully examine 640 x 30kg bags and then try and figure out the geology to understand and predict where the gold is most likely to be concentrated.
