Lower platinum prices are not necessarily a bad thing for EUA.
It will likely force closure of some expensive to run open pit mines particularly in SA leading to shortages and in the long term more demand.
We have here one of the lowest cost operations in the world with very significant proven reserves.

driver - it's pretty clear that PGM prices are linked to demand in the motor industry whether it be catalytic converters or fuel cells. If we think this will continue then we are in the right place.

Has a new JV been formed? EUA on AIM was only to issue stock with money from who knows where. EUA could offer its licences to become part of the new JV and delist. The Chinese will not pay over the odds..Is it the end of EUA as it now doesnt really have a purpose if the placings are finished.Is this the reason the shares are not being bought

CS mentioned ths possibility of a second wash plant operated 100% by Eurasia in Dublin a few months ago, and again more recently, so yes it could happen. The contractor has a contract to operate their plant, but I suppose a deal could be done, we'll find out soon.

Surely the existing contractor wouldn't accept EUA staff operating a 2nd washer alongside them? I would think more likely that EUA could just ask the contractor for a higher %age of revenues from both washers (efficiencies etc) ?

Could be WK production comparison but probably a little too soon.

There could however be enough information for authorities to grant permission for wash plant number 2, to be operated 100% by our chaps.

Someone mentioned Eua could release records of current production and compare them with previous year.

low volume usually means very little. I would not read too much into today's move, it could revert on similar volume.

I am however rather optimistic regarding Thursday.

For those who are confused by my figure it should be .52p but I'd of sold them if it had been 5.2p given that the offer was showing .51p so fairly obvious a decimal point in the wrong place
