Larissa is the most advanced of about 10 EQT projects in Greece. Nothing much has been heard from there in the past year but it seems construction was completed and it is now moving to installation and commissioning as will be detailed in their EGM on 23/2. Note the EGM Agenda items below:

After the Italia MDC it seems Larissa is in line for commercial production later this year along with North Fork in the summer.

Larisa, Greece - 0.5MW, due online this year (quite overdue now due to supply chain and covid delays)

Interesting development, as found by RollonRetirement, LSE, thanks

AgriGas EGM, 23rd Feb,

1. Project progress update and its completion (project installation-commissioning schedule)
2. Election of a new Board of Directors
3. Approval of organizational chart
4. Approval of payroll - staff recruitment
5. Update on the company's operating plan after the launch
6. Financial situation of the company

Introduction to EQTEC (Dec 2022) CT.pdf. Slide 19/21.

EQTEC IN THE U.S.
EQTEC has strong links into the US and intends to grow there

EQTEC shareholding. The company’s largest shareholder is a US-based family
office; it owns just under 20% of the total shares.

Legal entity. The company is preparing for its formal registration in the US—either
through a wholly-owned subsidiary or through a joint venture.

USA partners and pipeline. The company has established project development,
delivery and business development partners in California, Texas and Washington
DC and works with other partners based in Arizona, Colorado and Missouri.

US procurement. With its Texas-based partner, the company has completed a
supplier assessment for a majority of its components for California plants, toward
procurement of those parts in the US.

Earliest project. One of the company’s earliest projects (financial close 2020) is the North Fork project in California, the first in a large pipeline across that state.

Board member. The COO is a native, US citizen (born and raised in Indiana, family
in Virginia, attended university in Connecticut).

Worser and worser and still the silence. Wonder how many months are catered for in "imminent" . This is now pricing in a monumental flop

Just in size and evolution of the process.

If the problem is at the process back end it should be very fixable. Jenbacher's are very reliable and in widespread use worldwide. Jenbacker support engineers would be available from Austria to come on site and trouble shoot. The engine has not been running for probably 6 years whilst the plant was moth balled.

Is there much difference between the Movialsa system and the Italia MDC?

Biochar production is a front end biproduct and irrelevent to the overall operation.
The theories here of wet wood chip feed were to me unlikely.
The problem seems to be rear end.
Either the pressure or syngas presentation to the Jenbacher engine or the engine and electrical controls themselves.
Electricity is generated by the Jenbacher.
None of this has been tested and confirmed as being operational.
In the video Yoel made reference to the syngas generation needed about 3 days to stabilize before engine running.
There is no report of going past this point.

EQT Twitter a/c: "Jan 12. EQTEC’s Italia MDC is currently approaching full commercial operation."

Yet 4 weeks later no commercial operation and no explanation that stands up. On Jan 12 there was no mention of the plants first operation on manual controls then further weeks (months?) to convert to auto mode. So this would seem to be a wholely bogus explanation.

"In mid-January 2023, the Company and plant operations team ran the full gasification process on manual controls and is now setting it up for automatic mode. As part of its tests, the Company also produced biochar from the plant."

There has never been any mention of electricity production at all which is the main function of the plant.

It seems there is an attempt to deceive shareholders on this important subject.

Not that I have much choice, too down currently to sell, but the second part of the RNS does give me some hope despite it requiring an awful lot of patience. Some similarities with other companies I have....over-optimism with other people's money, casual about over-stretch, need to focus on key deals, vagueness. Re-focusing will take time, and money - but expectations are met.

What are we not being told about the Italia MDC?

The explanation for the delay in commercial operations is way beyond belief. If any of what has been happening was planned then "its looking a lot like Xmas ...." was ill informed hype. It seems the plant has had unspecified problems, now being resolved, that EQT is covering up for by the release of today's form of words.

Probably we will never know.

The good news is it should be in production 'imminently'. ??????

Moving from manual operation to automatic is not just a matter of pressing a red button. Manual op was mid-Jan.

Because the RNS is in 2 parts. I stopped reading after the first part and only discovered later there was a more detailed Part 2.
