17/11/2017 14:35 | Should be news on Sunday night let's hope it's the start of long reversal in share price ...I think it will! | blueblood
17/11/2017 14:14 | Today’s Sellers won’t be around to take profits later. It’s Who owns the stock that is important to the share price strength. So imho flushing weak holders out is necessary. | nickb
17/11/2017 13:18 | seagreen, I would agree with your post on market makers, only one thing has driven this down today and that's sellers, I am not one of them but whether its traders which I suspect it is in the main as no news today or some de-risking or indeed a large holder still selling out, who knows, anyway most definitely its the selling that is the reason, period. | stewart4800
17/11/2017 12:51 | One way or another this long playing record about market makers playing games is so out of date the majority of them are no longer allowed to take much risk or a view on their book any more and that goes for being short or long. The movements are caused by every buyer needing a seller and every seller need a buyer these days. The market makers then take their spread. Certainly over a weekend they would prefer to be flat or flatish. If they get hit by a buy or sell order in size they move their prices to execute the deal and make a turn it is that simple. The days of market makers being semi prop desks are over, which is why you can see such violent movements in an iliquid share as they seek to square their book. I think there are one or two larger players who have more room to take a view but it is not that sizeable and it is obvious who they are as they tend to be more agressive. (I agree it was not like this some years back.) Just IMHO DYOR Nag. Brimsley is trying to make money on weakness by being short just as others are going long as they think the price is cheap...takes two to tango....dyor and make your mind up and yes I am sure in periods of weakness spread betters take it up the jaksi...why anyone still spread bets small cap AIM stocks is beyond me most of us have learnt our lesson by now! Likewise unless the shorters have inside knowledge they would not want to be short over any weekend particulalry. Its al part of modern day trading and its not personal just the way it is. I have argued that shorting should be prevented on small cap AIM stocks but always get told it brings liquidity to the market which to be fair I guess it does how ever unpleasant it is. Certainly it is better to ignore the likes of Brimsley as he is feeding on your fear and drip feeding his perceived negativity and doubt, which to be fair he might be right about, but I hope he is not and as others have said the NAV of the remaining assets should protect long term holders. Good Weekend | seagreen
17/11/2017 12:41 | Taken some more, a little disappointed with the drop which as we all know was orchestrated by the masses selling because they were only interested in short term gains ,which may or may not have happened for some buyers. I said before I was here for the 57p, and at such times of lows like this is no different a time of fotune or not to do a top up....gl a lth's | abergele
17/11/2017 11:55 | similar downhole pressure gradients if you want balance | brimsley
17/11/2017 11:49 | Just for balance brimsley hxxps://www.energy-p | nametrade
17/11/2017 11:39 | NickB I suppose it all depends whether you own shares in EME or are a sick, twisted , little .....? Perhaps we should ask brimsley? | honestmarty

17/11/2017 11:36 | So now that it’s rising off the lows does that mean Positive News is leaking! | nickb
17/11/2017 11:36 | Yep hxxp://www.sacgasco. and this is what a real high pressure flare looks like spot the diff | brimsley
17/11/2017 11:35 | Showme1 Are you sure that's it? No wonder the share price has taken a battering | honestmarty
17/11/2017 11:35 | 'The rig and crews continue to work safely and efficiently. As previously advised, the Dempsey 1-15 well intersected a number of porous potential reservoir zones which resulted in significant gas shows while drilling. The testing program will follow good oilfield practise by beginning testing from the bottom of the well. These tests are not in order of interpreted potential based on quality of log and gas show response. Additional information will be provided as further testing is carried out'. | currypasty
17/11/2017 11:30 | Anyone have a link to the flare off photo? | honestmarty
17/11/2017 11:24 | Stewart,yes I agree.your post 12688 | abergele
17/11/2017 11:19 | Agreed Curry. | trulyscrumptious
17/11/2017 11:12 | I guess that by having enough gas to flare off triggered the news from SGC. They probably thought if word got out, and they had said nothing, they would be in trouble with ASX. A flare off that size .. not something you can hide. I hope they have learned the lesson that investors are very nervous, and don't put anything out until the 'commercial' news | currypasty
17/11/2017 11:12 | Truly - with respect, he'd have looked a bit of a berk getting excited yet again and on the strength of that rns. There's a risk of paralysis by analysis here.Morning stewart - yep, agreed | terry hardacre
17/11/2017 11:06 | TK was very upbeat about the but the RNS seems to have played a different tune, this is from the 4th October: Empyrean CEO Tom Kelly commented, "Empyrean is pleased with the progress and planning being undertaken in order for the Dempsey 1-15 well to be tested safely and, if successful, placed into commercial production. This process is underway and the coming weeks will be very exciting as we reach critical stages of the testing program." And from 18th September: Tom Kelly, Empyrean CEO, commented "With multiple interpreted potential production zones now safely behind cemented casing, we now embark on an exciting flow testing program. He didn't sound so excited on Tuesday. | trulyscrumptious |
