14/11/2017 20:19 | Does it make sense to apply, say two zones to make a better flowrate so producing Commerical rates? as the lowest zone has clean gas | sparrow9
14/11/2017 20:13 | Too simple a view? Some traders like to build a wall of worry. | nickb

14/11/2017 18:22 | I hope so. As Judi said earlier, we don't want to be going through a day like today again. | the guardian
14/11/2017 18:00 | RNS extract: ..."flow-testing and completion of the well is continuing as planned." "The well's lowest zone, a thin sand with poor reservoir characteristics based on the wireline logs, has been perforated and has flowed clean, dry natural gas and no water." "The gas has flowed at rates that are sub-commercial at current gas market prices. However, analysis of this zone, and its full potential, remain at an early stage. The tested zone has been isolated and preparations are underway for the next stage of testing which will target the next shallower zone of gas shows." lowest zone = thin and poor characteristics. Now on to the rich biggies...(!!!) | bishopawn

14/11/2017 17:10 | Sacgasco have stated at the Good Oil Conference at the end of September, that they were relieved that they had cemented tubing in, before they got from Dempsey during drilling strong "kicks" of gas, and as a result they put in place an emergency flare, just in case they took blasts of gas which they couldn't handle. "There was a fair bit of gas on the way down to T.D", as they intersected 4 zones with net pay in them. The well is in a virgin area of the field that they fully expect to produce early cash flow and bring in a new dawn for Sacgasco. "They experienced significant gas shows in multiple zones" ON THE WAY DOWN to T.D. So they described it as a "gasey well." They know there is gas in the shallow sands already. 1, 2, 3 and 4 zones are deeper and will be now tested. The gas is clean and dry. Sacgasco is confident of the potential that is before them with Dempsey. | bishopawn

14/11/2017 16:51 | 'JOG effect'... 6 bagger may be a bit optimistic, but should be able to pass the previous 31p (or thereabouts) of our last spike, on good flow from 'X' targets | currypasty
14/11/2017 16:44 | Really hoping for JOG effect here now and think there's a good chance of getting it. | blueblood
14/11/2017 16:26 | Imagine reload! Wonder if we could have more news tonight or will it be Wednesday/Thursday? | niceyman1
14/11/2017 16:22 | Anyone know if the perf guns are sent down in a string for all the zones, or do they need to pull them up and reload them for each zone of interest please? | scaleyman
14/11/2017 15:26 | deanroberthunt14 Nov '17 - 13:12 - 12500 of 12511 0 0 Empyrean It is difficult to know quite what to make of the EME announcement which shows ‘sub-commercia -------------------- I refer you to my earlier post when, I should remind you, you suggested I "show some respect" as Malcy had "forgotten more than I will ever know, on matters Oil and Gas"....... I stand by my earlier comment. | herschel k
14/11/2017 15:25 | I don't think shortage of gas was the issue, more permeability due to poor reservoir condition. Clearly the cement bonding wasn't an issue; good news. Clearly well integrity not an issue. Onwards and upwards. | mark of the rushes
14/11/2017 15:22 | The JOG scenario is still fresh in my mind here. Release bit of perceived bad news and share price tanks before the real news comes out few days later and share multi bags! | blueblood
14/11/2017 15:15 | How long will it take for them to test next zone up? Few days maybe but should hear more by end of week. | blueblood
14/11/2017 14:46 | I am with terry on the malcy front .. all pasty no gas till later | telbap
