13/10/2017 16:04 | Harrissen. At last a polite post even though I disagree with what you say I cannot see why anyone would trade a share 0.5p profit after costs etc, it ain't worth it I certainly would never trade unless I was making a £10k or 10% profit minimum on my trading shares, why bother otherwise. The MMs are not getting a plentiful supply they trade them, try and frighten a few out with dropping the price but in general they keep a level book especially over weekends, they don't care if its up or down they trade on the spread I know this because I happen to have a broker who is an ex MM and he knows the markets. Now going back to your assertion that "I'm sailing close to the wind" because you believe I get sensitive information and trade on that and let my Pals know. Now again I ask you what you mean by this explain as I don't intend dropping this till you do so. I have never traded on any inside info and don't intend starting to do so now. Guys nice little run into the weekend I honestly think this will be a lot higher next week. Maybe I should trade that 500k I got @18.7 the other day when it gets to 28.7p :):) | ![]() thetoonarmy2
13/10/2017 14:44 | thetoonarmy2 13 Oct '17 - 12:05 - 10578 of 10590 10 0 Harrisen your post last night? .................... What I am saying is MMs make their money on the spread they don't give a toss where the price is pitched so long as there are traders willing to trade it - to make a pittance in most cases. The trading range has been between 17.5p and about 19.5p for a few months now and it is there because the traders sell for a profit of about 0.5p, less in some cases. My belief is that if the traders did not sell the MMs would have to raise the price and keep rising it until traders did sell for a decent profit. This stock could easily be 30p or higher if the MMs wasn't getting a plentiful supply from the traders at less than 20p. | harrissen

13/10/2017 11:37 | It is why a lot of us left ADVFN for a private forum of quality and sensible traders/holders etc. People seem to forget a holding of £5,000 to some is more important than a holding of £1m to others...Life is relative | ![]() seagreen

13/10/2017 10:31 | Looks like the traders cannot hold on any longer a whole point to take out will see them capitulate and take the few fivers. Some regulars noticeable by their absence today? Are they too busy looking for an exit point to close their trades? Once they get shot they will be back again. Shame they can't hold on for a decent profit further down the road. | harrissen |
