Merrill Lynch Ups Motif Bio Stake Following Iclaprim Results (ALLISS)
By Alliance | Fri, 6th October 2017 - 14:19

LONDON (Alliance News) - Merrill Lynch International has raised its stake Motif Bio PLC under a transaction on Wednesday and now holds 5.038% interest in the pharmaceutical company.
The purchase came on the same day Motif Bio reported positive results from its phase III clinical study of flagship antibiotic Iclaprim. Iclaprim met its primary endpoint in the phase III trial in patients with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections, which was non-inferiority whilst compared to the standard of care vancomycin.
Earlier today, Motif Bio released new pre-clinical data showing positive results regarding the use of Iclaprim. In an in vivo model mimicking the pathophysiology observed in cystic fibrosis patients, rats were dosed with either 80 or 60 milligrams of Iclaprim, 50 mg of Vancomycin, and a placebo.
The Iclaprim rats showed a 100% survival rate, 33 out of 33, while Vancomycin showed 92% survival rate and the placebo 48%.
Merrill Lynch had a holding that was below the notable threshold prior to the purchase.
Motif Bio shares were up 6% on Friday at 46.11 pence.

A step ahead of ImmuPharma is Motif Bio, which has successfully completed not one, but two phase III clinical trials and is preparing to submit its antibiotic, iclaprim, for regulatory sign-off. While the shares are up 23 per cent this week at around 43p, analysts think it could be worth double that figure.
Amphion Innovations, the investment group, owns just over 14 per cent of Motif. Its chief executive thinks market hasn’t quite grasped how valuable this shareholding is. He might be right as Amphion’s market capitalisation is some way short of the value of its Motif investment

Ton/ Tarz,

Capacity is not a problem. Jeffery said so at the last GO 17 on 13 Sep. It s not an issue for them. Plus only 30 /40 days to permit a new well.

Page 7 of the presentation. About 14m in.

See my post below paraphrasing his speech.

Jemjem expressed the position well in his earlier post.

Jeffrey is expecting the arrival of Mr Buffett in the next few weeks or so:-

Once that ( nice ) Mr Buffett of PG & E samples the gas & gives us the all clear which we expect as it is clean dry gas based on the gas chromatograph like we produce every day we re off to the races or words to that effect!!

3 US$Mio for every 1MCF.

Capacity not a problem as SGC have other infrastructure, other producing wells, other meter stations so that they can drill off same pads. They can switch gas from these meter stations to continue production at this station.

I think it would be best if we find something massive first, rather than worry if we have the capacity to cope with it

More than one meter station available!

"The assets also include all associated leases, production facilities, including meter stations and pipelines in two gas fields Rancho-Capay, adjacent to existing SGC production and East Rice Creek Gas Field, immediately north of Rancho-Capay"

Sacramento Basin Natural gas producer and developer, Sacgasco Limited (ASX: SGC)
(‘SacgascoR17;) is pleased to confirm that it has significantly strengthened its asset base in the
Sacramento Basin, California, through the acquisition of five additional operated natural gas wells
from various private Californian entities (see location of new wells acquired (identified in red) in
Figure 1 below).
The acquisition is effective February 1, 2017
Sacgasco will operate the wells under its current service agreement with Dero Parker’s Integrity
Management Services.
The assets also include all associated leases, production facilities, including meter stations and
pipelines in two gas fields Rancho-Capay, adjacent to existing SGC production and East Rice
Creek Gas Field, immediately north of Rancho-Capay.
The leases and gas production infrastructure acquired lie above or adjacent to SGC’s mapped 1+
Tcf* Dempsey Natural Gas Prospect, and are a highly strategic addition to the Company’s lease
holdings in the prolific Sacramento Basin which has produced over 11 Tcf of natural gas to date.

I'm pretty certain they have already said they can upgrade the existing metre station and associated pipework reasonably easily. They also have the option of hooking into other metre stations that are in the vicinity. It just needs more pipework.Lets hope they have this problem to tackle in the very near future.Imo

I am sure that if we need it we can sort the logistics of much higher capacity.

Well, we are now 1 week nearer to the upcoming MASSIVE "moment of truth" re Dempsey i.e. Will it provide commercial flow or wont it?

If it does, then there will fairly quickly be lots of new millionaires created, particularly as a commercial flow could then be more likely extrapolated to the other 3 Dempsey area wells and to Alvares.

If it doesn't, then there will be some big hits on current "paper" wealth for the actual shareholders and on actual wealth for the T20 and spread-better brigades.

Everything else so far points to Dempsey being a monster, but unfortunately there are still no guarantees of commercial flow.

However, assuming excellent early commercial flow from a very deep section of the well, I am then wondering what capex and time period will be immediately required to get the gas to market in decent quantities. I know there is the existing meter station within a stones throw, but this is only reported/rated at 20 mmcfgpd. Even if Dempsey takes all of this capacity it would take about 137 years with no downtime (lol) to process 1 tcf of gas? Or am I missing something?
