So you are now saying you are holding here and up over 100% but you are posting and insinuating holders are fools.

Smh lost do words. What are you smoking.

..........................

Holders who hold and don't question the info fed to us by management are fools in my opinion. Where your hard earned is at stake question everything and everybody. It is your cash that goes down the Suwannee if the Demesy doesn't flow commercially. It is better to be disappointed and sell than hold to the bitter end and be skint.

Great day out yesterday, good golf (well the odd shot anyway!!), nice weather and great company. Many thanks to Showme for organising. Toon, I've no idea how to add pictures on the bulletin board but I may try and work it out!

Your post 9878 - normally you drill to TD unless you have major drilling difficulties. The drill plan is designed so that you would try and drill to just below your last target reservoir of interest - identified via seismic or previous local well histories. You need to get at least 30 ft below the base of you resevoir to ensure the wireline logging tools can log the full reservoir. Total depth may vary slightly from the plan due to seismic error interpretation, but the mudlogs should determine when through the base of the last reservoir. Your question - would you bail out early if you didn't find what you expect - depends on the views of the operator/ company geologists. Lots of wildcat wells were "dry" or contained water rather than oil or gas but they were drilled to TD. Check out Sound energy's recent Badile drill to see a case of "so close but so far". Dempsey is certainly not dry and contains many stacked resevoirs, which is often not the case in many wells. All Dempsey now needs to prove is that it can flow at commercial rates. All warming up nicely and an interesting week ahead I think. GLA

Feel your pain KUMALA, have had a similar experience with RHL in the nuclear industry. RHL is showing signs of life again now after years in the wilderness so fingers X'd
Only been around in EME for a couple of months so I'm in blue heaven, but having read the analyst Harrison and taken on board his considered opinions I feel the only sensible thing to do 1st thing Monday morning would be to SELL.
Thank you Harrison. Hopefully i'll get out before the herd realise the value of your knowledge as to the real value of EME...
Cheers mate.!

Something that occurred to me this morning:

If you had drilled a well and failed anything interesting, would you bail out before reaching TD?

ILeema: agree i think there is huge potential for the share price to move north fast n furious when "positive"news arruves or even on further speculation even. Dont want to miss the boat hence ive doubled my holding on recent weeks buying from 5p to circa 26p. Ive been here well over 10 years and seen the price well north of £1 ...those were the days. My nteakeven sadly is still some way off so looking for anything over 45p min but circa 57p for acceptable profits considering my pain over the years...Now sitting and waiting.GLAK

You always get them, the bitter investors that missed the move.

I dont think we have seen anything yet, SGC and EME could easily multibag over next few weeks.

Shell sold Rajasthan field in India to Cairn for $7m, who then in turn found oil, developed and sold just over 50% for $8.6 billion. If one of the biggest Oil companies in the world can do that, can a smaller one do something similar ?. Companies sell assets for many different reasons, just look at BP as well.

So they bought part of Dempsey for a share issue ( paid for by the PIs) and the promise of $3m when they come in to profit - what a fairy tale?

Sacgasco, an Australia-listed company focused on California’s onshore Sacramento Basin, signed an LOI to acquire Peregrine Ltd.’s operated 35% WI in the Dempsey and Alvares conventional gas prospects, boosting its stakes to 90% and 75%. As payment, Sacgasco will issue 32 million shares valued at A$1.6 million (US$1.2 million), plus A$3 million cash (US$2.3 million) out of future Dempsey gas sales if the prospect is successful. Sacgasco estimates more than 1 Tcf recoverable

Good morning everyone. I am now the proud owner of the Patrick Cross Challenged Trophy kindly purchased by Toon. I disgraced myself with a lowly 8 points so rightly deserved the wooden spoon.
It was a great day and I hope some of you will attend next years.

lol seavista not too late to get in.

Best he has seen in 45 years and more chance of being commercial than no being commercial. Many many bags when they announce commercial.

Significant gas shows all the way through.

Those are some good odds.

I take it you didnt listen to the presentation either.
