And what thick git said this

"A more complete understanding of the poten􀆟al gas available for future produc􀆟on will likely
require some months of flow tes􀆟ng and produc􀆟on, combined with integra􀆟on of data from
the Dempsey 1-15 well with the 3D seismic data.
Updates will be provided on meaningful results from the flow tes􀆟ng of the target sandstone
reservoirs."

Oops! Sorry! It was that nice Mr Kelly, surely that can't be right. The 'experts' on here tell us there will be gas flowing and pounds in the bank starting next week and they are always right!

Workovers may be required for one or more of the following reasons:
Unsatisfactory production or injection rates
Supplemental recovery project requirements
Regulatory requirements
Competitive drainage
Reservoir data gathering
Lease requirements
Abandonments

The majority of workovers are done because the well is not performing up to expectations (see Production problems). Careful analysis will determine if the decline is abnormal or the result of normal reservoir depletion. If deemed abnormal, it must be determined if the problem is in the reservoir inflow system, the wellbore outflow system, or both. Inflow problems can be corrected with stimulation procedures such as acidizing, fracturing, scale, or paraffin treatments (see Stimulation) or by reperforating or additional perforating. Outflow problem resolution may require equipment changes, cleanouts, or chemical treatments.

Mechanical problems such as failures of the cement, tubulars, packers, wireline components, safety valves, or artificial lift equipment are also reflected in the well performance. Cement and casing problems are most often corrected by squeezing cement into the damaged areas (Figure 3). Very serious problems of this nature occasionally require a sidetracking operation. Depending on the initial wellbore configuration, some mechanical problems can be corrected by applying wireline methods. More often, however, the equipment must be pulled using a rig. This may be a routine operation, but it may be a major task if the equipment is stuck or has parted downhole. To recover parted or stuck downhole equipment, a fishing operation may be required

Aa a former poster of the year, several times over, I can confirm that the GO 17 presentation was only added to SGC´s site yesterday ( good spot by KJ )& that during the presentation Jeffery stated that a workover rig would be used for the flow testing as it is more economic. This is normal practice.

.....................

And you and your ramping pals never read hotcopper? Of course you don't why would you.

It is not 'normal' practice to use a work over rig.

It is the opposite in fact'

Stew,

Whether they have to or not is irrelevant.
They will want to in order to maintain the news flow momentum.

Please see my post to you on Mon. Mainly last para.

Stew,

Re post 9312.

No news yet on the rig.

As mentioned yesterday they used the Paul Graham triple rig No 9 for drilling Dempsey, seemingly with great success. Paul Graham has a workover rig No 8 which they might use subject to availability.
They have used PG a lot in their drilling in this area & have expressed great satisfaction with their performance.

Gary Jeffery, Sacgasco Managing Director stated that “Sacgasco has used Paul Graham rigs previously in California and has been impressed by their performance and is pleased to be teaming up with them on this exciting Dempsey well “ ( 10 July 2017 )

I expect that we will get news on the workover rig ( commissioning , mobilization etc ) as Jefferey is keen to maintain the newsflow momentum. Testing could start as early as next Mon. This is a best case so unlikely. More likely sometime the next week if all goes as they expect in their last release.
